I (24m) was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis about a year ago and feel like I should go back to school for a white collar job. The only thing is I don’t know what to study. I’m not good at math and I’m kind of introverted. I used to live in Florida and had lots of friends and I was happy but when covid happened I moved back to Tennessee to live with my parents. I’ve been struggling to connect with people ever since and I don’t know what I should do. I want to give architecture a try but I think I would be about $60k in debt by the end of it. I’m also considering supply chain or maybe economics. Those might not be great choices though so I would appreciate some suggestions.

i’m not making this up, right? this is emotional abuse, no?
at a loss. have been trying to be no contact since my wedding in may. i, as always, have been largely unsuccessful due to ongoing (what i can only describe as literal) harassment and triangulation. (even via….CAMEO vids of celebrities LMAOOO).
i (28f) have realized how bad the emotional incest has always been with my (58f) mother. i…..don’t know what im looking for here. for help i guess. she followed me across the country after my husband and i relocated post-grad school. she has since caused issues with my professional reputation (lawyer) due to her addictions and selfish behavior and DUIs etc. none of this is her fault. never has been.
but i feel at this point i will never escape. again, dont know why im posting these but i feel like i need to. i have no other place where anyone might understand. am i in the wrong here??
on thanksgiving around 5pm, she sends this to start it all — i haven’t replied in months. she sends it timed intentionally, as the meal she is referring to occurred on monday.
mom: Sorry you missed it! We had a lovely time. Hope you are having a great holiday! Love you! 😘
mom: You missed a wonderful dinner in our home. I hope wherever you are that you are having a lovely day! 🦃❤️🍗
me: I cannot communicate with you right now because it is not good for my mental or emotional health. I’ve had a very busy few months unpacking the many years of therapy you always joked about — please read the following or any topic-related (emotional incest; enmeshment trauma; parentification; narcissistic mothering) readings suggested by your therapist before doing further damage with your emotional attacks. Links incoming. Please don’t reply. I did not ask for this communication. I do not know of any other way to convey to you what I am so deeply troubled with. Happy holidays.

mom: Love how these books all make you a victim, you are the offender in this and refuse to accept it. Tell me, would you want your texts to us published?Do you see at all how cruel you have been to us over workable things, but you refused to talk. That leads nowhere and keeps people in a bubble of their own thoughts.
mom: We can reset, if you are willing. This is so disproportionate to whatever happened.
mom: I’ve had to switch jobs, cried too much at last one, [stepdad] is at a loss, as am I. We are not your enemies
mom: Let’s reset. Life is so short.
mom: Sent same Thanksgiving video to [little brother], not the same response! We just miss you, but clearly you don’t miss us. Love you still
me: Not reading what I asked you not to send. Please stop forcing me to block your phone number in order to prevent literal harassment and abuse. Get help.
me (replying to “why must you be like this” message): That’s before I knew what a narcissist was. Education is important in understanding that other people exist outside of ourselves. I am sorry if I forgot to teach you that. I cannot be your therapist anymore. I need to feel my own feelings now.
mom: So, all this time, even when [man who introduced my parents who never married and birthed me post-break up and i had no relationship with myself at all] passed, you’ve seen my messages??? Wow. I thought you didn’t, hoped you weren’t so callous.
me: Google “DARVO.” You’re welcome!
mom: Yes, that’s what you do. Don’t make things worse.
me: You think I process information like a 12 year old girl, the same way that you do. You know when your messages are delivered and aren’t. You cannot gaslight me about basic things. It is embarrassing and sets you back further in your journey. Which you have work to do on. Good luck and take it slow!! It’s a lot!! messages stop being delivered

this post is also for awareness na rin, let this be a safe space sa lahat and esp sa victims.
so ito na, ako lang ba? this might be controversial but why is it always on the clients part to be extra careful a bazillion times more and not why these scammers (who will burn forever in hell) acquired our bank infos? not just bank infos po but other infos as well... infos that were beyond data breach na like alam pagkaka apply lang ng cc, alam if may expecting new cc delivery and even yung kaka deposit lang eh pagka-uwi may na received na agad spam text na sa months and weeks na nagdaan eh wala naman na receive except that day (infos are consolidated infos here sa reddit & socmed) this is just a grain of stories and marami pang marami and mas malalang stories.
that's very alarming isn't it?
this is the biggest question... data breached pa rin ba or inside job na?
I think banks should also be a bazillion times more careful eh not just the clients (both should be). hindi po ba pwedeng if malaking amount like for example lang - more than 10k tapos using cc na never naman nagamit sa online eh ma-detect nila agad and ma-blocked muna or auto-decline etc. yung transaction unless confirmed muna by the legit cc owner yung transaction to prevent fraudulent transaction/s. I read somewhere na kahit kasi hindi mabigay yung otp etc. eh nag p-push through yung transaction/s nung scammers.
what are your thoughts? also, may ganito din po ba kayong experience or mas malala pa?

I just wanted to take a moment to appreciate the amazing work the English voice cast has been doing with the Ranma remake! I have been obsessed with this show for about 25 years and I was a little apprehensive at first about how the new voices would compare to the originals, but I’ve been just loving their performances. Especially with the new Ranma male voice - I was a die hard Sarah Strange fan and although I still LOVE her interpretation of Ranma I am finding that I am actually liking David Errigo Jr's voice a little better, and that is coming from someone who truly LOVED Sarahs voice - so much so that I couldn't watch the show in english after Richard Ian Cox voiced Ranma and I even loved Inuyasha - I like cried when I saw they had changed it. I really enjoy the comedic risks David takes with the voice and it feels more modern - like his inflections and playfulness are really humanizing Ranma for me. Especially after today's episode 9 I really feel like he has found his groove with the character.
Suzie Yeung was basically born to play Female Ranma - she is as good as Venus Terzo and I wouldn't want anyone else voicing Female Ranma - basically flawless.
I also am really loving Akane's voice actor Valeria Rodriguez, I am really coming around on the lower tone to Akane's voice and how grounded she sounds a lot of the time compared to the original. I think Valeria offers a great range with Akane from sweet to angry or sarcastic. And man Ryoga's voice actor Damien Haas is just perfection like he sounds so similar to the original that its hard to tell they are different people I can't believe how well his actor was cast. I am so excited for the Breaking Point arc as it was always one of my favourites and I know Damien will knock it out of the park.
Anyways I just wanted to give the Eng leads a shout out because it must have been hard voicing characters that are so beloved and people have such strong opinions when it comes to this remake and comparing it to the OG. And I think even though sometimes the translation can be a little odd at times for the Eng dub I think the actors hit the lines so hard and really make them feel natural. I also love the Japanese voice actors and think its so wild that they get to reprise their roles again after this long - they must have never thought that would ever happen!
I just am loving this remake so much and support it 100%!!

Curious about what everyone does with their bottles when they are empty, specifically corked bottles, not so much swing tops. New bottles are relatively inexpensive around me, ~$17 for a dozen, so on the occasion I empty a bottle of wine, mead, or liquor I'm not sure if it's really worth the effort of cleaning, de-labeling, sanitizing just to save $1.41. So what do you guys do? Are you way more frugal than I am or new batch new bottles?
