It’s one of those nights again. Where I start out so numb I can’t sleep and the longer I’m awake it jsut morphs into this just giant swamping feeling of loneliness and grief.
It made me think of my ex-girlfriend. I miss her more than I thought I did. I would do anything to be in her room with her arms around me again. I would do anything too laugh with her and make things with her and go on our little adventures.
We broke up because we just couldn’t handle long distance after a move.
I wish I tried harder but I also think we both need to move on.
It hurts. It hurts so much. I just want someone to love me again. I want to be with her again. The hours always felt like they were flying and they just flew by too fast.
It was just a highschool senior year fling and I knew it wouldn’t end well from the start.
I am so lonely. I’m in a new city. I’m not going to school. I still live with my fucking dad. I don’t even have a car. I’m just…. Useless. Maybe I didn’t deserve what she gave me, but I crave it like I’m an addict going through withdrawal.
I just want someone, anyone.
Hell she’s not even the only person I used to be physically affectionate with. My entire friend group and I would swap hugs, I one time took a nap in my friends lap. We were close and there was always someone and now I’m all alone with no way of facilitating connection outside of my father who was my abuser for years, his best friend and my roommate, and my fucking cat who’s honestly a little shit most of the time.
I keep telling myself that if j just work harder I can make it back home. It feels far away, but I need to go back too my hometown I can’t handle this, I just can’t. I almost wish the numbness could come back but even the not feeling feels bad.
I know it’s a waste of time rambling about all the ways I’ve failed or how most days I can’t even get out of bed or clean my room because it’s pathetic and useless and I’m not changing anything. I hate myself. I hate my brain. Something is wrong with me and I need it to be fixed. I can’t keep living like this. I have a soul trapped inside of me that is bright and warm and happy and it’s stuck in a useless just that’s too heavy for it to move. It feels like a constant war within and I’m losing on every side.

I have an Australian 2007 E93 335i recently tuned with MHD. Now I have a CEL and error 2A18 (DMTL heating control) that returns after being cleared.
Australian cars do not have a DMTL system so I assume the error is due to MHD being primarily designed for US spec cars.
Is there a way I can permanently code this error out?

The cover by Michael Bublé is significantly more viewed but objectively sucks the life out of the original.
A big appeal of the original for me is the Grandpa energy that Burl Ives gives, it feels like you are sitting down on the couch next to a warm fire while grandpa sings this to the little kids in the house. In the Michael Bublé version he the way he sings it transforms it into a generic Christmas love song which words and music don't match the voice.
Building on to that, Michael Bublé takes his version too seriously. It feeling fake like he is being held at gunpoint while singing it. He draws out and curves his words for no reason except the fact that it makes it sound more like a generic 2010's pop song.
If there are any more ways I can think of to put my hatred into words I will comment them.

I recently got my RG35XXSP and it's been really fun to mess around with. I saw some posts on here about changing some game settings to improve N64 performance, but now a couple of games (Mario 64 and Diddy Kong Racing) just won't boot on the Parallel core after changing a couple of the settings.
Is there a way to remove/revert to default for the GAME-specific config? As I can't even boot the game to go into the retroarch settings for it to reset them.

Here’s a reminder for those of you with black and tan pups (vaccinations) Black and Tan dogs are more susceptible to parvovirus than other colours, and they should have an extra vaccination when they are puppies and extra boosters as adults.
This is my dog who had all the standard vaccinations as a puppy. He caught parvovirus shortly after his first birthday. I was not aware that Black and Tan dogs needed an extra vaccination when I got him.
Luckily he made a full recovery after a week in doggy intensive care, but it was very likely that he wouldn’t survive. There is no cure for parvovirus and unless medicated it can be a very painful death. Please speak to your vet about extra vaccinations so your dog doesn’t have to suffer like mine did. Most dogs don’t survive.
