She could see the hem of the Cousin of the King's robe walk by her, she was ignored as usual in favor of the guard Commander. "Rise Commander." Came the order, followed by the sound of Commander Tigo standing. "Sir." "Justify you remaining in your position." "Sir. Under my watch, Your predecessor was protected from all threats, besides himself. And I cannot be expected to protect him in a duel of honor." "The poor fool, it was a matter of time based on his temperament." He scoffs. "He was a poor duelist." "Yes sir." "I presume my stateroom is ready? It has been a long flight." "Yes sir. Representative Sandaya will take you to your accommodations." Torello fought the urge to glance at the Senator as she heard him walk over to Representative Meltra Sandaya. A member of staff who's job was to represent the minority families to the Senator. "You're Sandaya?" "Yes sir." "Look up." The Senator orders. "You need to lose weight, and remove the green accent from your hair." He states with disapproval. "Take me to my quarters." He orders. As the sound of the Senator and his Housecarls' footsetps vanish into the apartment complex Elania Torello slowly stands and glances at Commander Tigo. "Lovely person." She quips with a glare. "Expensive tastes too." Tigo looks at her with a weary expression. "Let me guess, you already have a list of his vices?" "Perhaps if house Tigo would quit killing spies and focus on flipping them, you'd get the intel House Santha gets." She replies quietly as the band starts packing up a short distance away. "Not my call." He replies quietly back. "Anything useful." "My source said he hates to read, he apparently said that you can't ask a book a question which is why he doesn't like to read." "So an idiot who thinks he's smart." "Correct. He's also weak to the Pods and other races, red wine, and redheads." "I'll bet he holds off on making a pass on you for a less than a week." "Two hundred credits say it's over a week" Elania replies with a slight chuckle. "I've already contracted some beautiful fire birds from a modeling agency to distract him" Tigo nods. "Of course you have." He sighs. So basically, I was checking my device manager and I saw 2 options which were "turn off accessibility features" and "deactivate device admin apps". The description for both of them says "malware may exploit accessibility features to infect your device" but does this mean it can give me device malware when it's turned on, or when it's turned off?

2024.12.01 04:50 petersrabbit62 I’m thinking of rehoming a cat I adopted 💔
I adopted a hypoallergenic cat a couple weeks ago from a breeder but it is not working out. The cat is very sweet, she is not the issue. She’s 2 years old and has just been adjusting to her new home.
I’m 24 and live at home with my dad. I’ve been struggling with my mental health lately and thought that adopting a cat would solve all my problems. I saw on Reddit how people’s pets have saved them. However, I don’t think I’m meant to be a pet owner 😔 and I’m so frustrated that I’m learning this the hard way.
I’m debating returning my kitty to the breeder she came from. The breeder was keeping her as a pet before I adopted her. Here are my reasons as to why I was stupid:
- I thought I could afford having a cat but I cannot. I’m currently out of work (I was employed when I got her but I just lost my job) and I can barely afford life for myself. I’m out of money and I’m starting to go into credit card debt now.
- I’ve struggled with depression on and off for the past couple years. I was told that getting a cat could help with depression but oh my god. Caring for her is so hard. I do feed her and clean out her litter box and play with her, but it takes so much out of me. I do not enjoy it at all and I don’t enjoy having a cat either. She’s a sweetheart but I feel nothing towards her. I think it’s part of the depression.
- I felt so guilty when I was at work. I worked 10-11 hour days. Everyone said to get a second cat but I can barely afford just one. I’m looking for a new job and I might end up in retail again where there’s more 10 hour days.
- I’m allergic to her. She’s a siberian (hypoallergenic) and I wasn’t allergic to her when I first met her but now I am. I can’t really afford allergy shots or medications. My dad is allergic to her too.
- I don’t know where my life is going. I’m going to get a masters soon but I really don’t know where I’ll end up or if I’ll have to travel.
I realize this is entirely my fault and I feel horrible. I’ve been crying for the past couple of hours. I feel I’m not fit to be a cat mom, even though I thought I was. I am crying as I type this 😭 I’m giving myself a week to decide if I’m going to give her back or not. I feel like I should have fostered first. I just can’t take care of her by myself like I’m doing now.

Long story short I bought (eight) Kobe Bryant jerseys in a show that came out to be fakes. With it being my first time dealing with returns I messaged the seller first.
The seller takes days to respond despite being on shows, cool I get it— they’re busy. Eventually he responds and sends a label.
Here’s where it gets annoying: I ship the item and tracking on return label says it’s been delivered. The seller denies he received it.
I messaged whatnot.. 4 times. No answers, no nothing; what do I do now? The seller has my money and the product and has completely ghosted me.

2024.12.01 04:50 IBiteTheArbiter EDH players that prefer Derevi over Hakbal, what does Derevi do that other Merfolk commanders don't?
I've hit a ceiling with Hakbal, but I love him so much I'm not willing to give him up yet. I've already tried Kumena and he doesn't click with me at the helm, as much as I love him in the 99. I own the Bloomburrow Derevi and if she's more potent than Hakbal as a Merfolk tribal commander, I might use her instead.
