2024.12.01 04:40 FewRadish9849 Cant sleep over 2 hours when i sleep earlier then normal
I can be TIRED as anything before like 1AM and even if I sleep, i will wake up at 4am ish and be wide awake and can't go back to sleep. I dont know how to fix it.... my body clock was messed up previously for years of sleeping at 4-5am and waking up at 10am but now i want to fix it and get 8 hours sleep a night but i just cant. Any ideas?

I know Iām being nitpicky here but the fact that he can just straight up kill multiple members of your party and then tells you he knew your intentions were pure all along and that he was only testing your worthiness of the yato (a sword made by a god that literally decides who is worthy of wielding it and bringing peace to the land) just pisses me off so much. And in conquest his comment of taking the yato for himself after defeating you just rubbed me the wrong way and in my opinion really reveals his true nature. Am I the only one who feels this way?

2024.12.01 04:40 RickRI401 Rushing people out of a restaurant.
We decided to go out to dinner tonight at a local restaurant that we frequently visit on Saturday nights. Our usual server is on vacation, she went home for a few weeks to visit her family.
Tonight, as usual, we take 2 seats at the bar, the other server, who knows us comes over, hands us menus and engages in small talk. We give her our beverage order. A few minutes later we're ready to order. To this point, it's going well.
Apps are delivered, it's close to 7:00PM. We're watching college football on the TV while we're waiting. Phone rings, staff overhesrd saying "The Kitchen closes at 845, the restaurant closes at 9".
It's 7:10, the fill in server is closing up the bar. She's washing the taps, cleaning the drains and placing "corks" in the taps, for what I'm guessing to keep them clean. Meanwhile, I'm Ā½ way through the apps, she's asking if I want to box them up. The entrĆ©e is still being prepared by the chef. EntrĆ©e is delivered soon there after, she's asking if we want the check... mind you, it's not even 7:30. The place closes in 1Ā½ hours.
OH! We decide to take the check, she gives us the bill then goes to the dollar store across the plaza to get something for home, and left us waiting. Another server took the time to see if We needed anything, asked about dessert, drinks, etc.
I get it, it's a slow night, you want to get home to your family. I know the retail work ethic and other things associated with it, but pushing people out is a bit much. I also work with the public, and have since I stated working at 16, I'm 51 now.
I know the owner very well, should I let this go or mention it to him?
I'm thinking to let it go, but seriously, please don't try to make guests feel unwelcome, especially when there's plenty of time left in the shift.

- Make Gravnet E and Barrier C
- With the recent changes to Phoenix, this is imminent for deadlock. Her agent design revolves around Nanowires, which means the net being her signature should be the best fit. Her barrier is not refreshable anyway, so this change will not have much impact to deadlock, except only during pistol rounds where her wall is free.
- Nerf gravnet
- Nerf it as it is too strong then make it a proper refreshable utility. Make it so that the net removal animation can be performed by one player to remove the net for the rest of the netted team. This will limit the initiation power of the gravnet while retaining its stopping power, which is its intended purpose after all. Remove the secondary fire throw for the gravnet as well as it does not have any real use-cases.
- Change Sonic Sensor to be less Crowd-control and more Intel-based
So, a change to offset its unreliability without making it a full-on trip is to make it F-activatable, and once it is activated it deafens all players in its hearing range (not detection range); this status effect would persist unless the trip is destroyed. Its original mechanic, trip and stun, would stay alongside this new mechanic. So basically, the sensor would still work as a sensor- it just has an added feature, which is a one-time activation like a nanoswarm.
To accomodate this new mechanic, a new deployment mechanic also has to be introduced: long-ranged placement of sensors by bouncing it off of walls like her ult. Her sensor can now be also globally recalled by long-pressing Q and once recalled, no audio cue is heard by the enemies and no cooldown is incurred for deadlock.
These changes fulfill the fantasized playstyle for deadlock- which is to be the ultimate reactive sentinel, without compromising her solo-sentinel capacity. Making her sensor deafen players on command compels enemies to shoot it and give deadlock info, instead of creeping through it and catching defenders offguard.
Besides, with its large hearing range, it can be deployed to say, the wall near the huge box in Lotus A rubble to deafen attackers in A lobby. This forces them to reclear and fight for A rubble just to destroy the sensor. And since they would fight as a group, deadlock's other abilities, especially her gravnet, would be even more useful as they are designed to deal with grouped overwhelms.
And finally, because of its long-ranged deployability, deadlock can place her sensors where you would put 'deep cameras' as cypher for intel on attacker activity. This puts pressure to the attacking team to clear out her sensor as early as possible for it not to get in the way of their executes later on. If they won't clear it out, the pressure of deadlock activating it and deafening them will remain, and getting deafened on attack is a huge risk as it can make them susceptible to defensive aggression (which is another area where deadlock excels at).
But what if attackers can just easily get rid of her sensor as it is placed too deep? This is where the recallability of her sensor comes in and counter this. With deadlock, you can deploy the sensor here and there, without the need to actually committing the util to guarding that area. Once enemies hear the sensor being deployed, deadlock can just immediately retrieve her sensor and place it on another area. Although the sensor is not there, the pressure of it remains, which will make the attackers think twice before taking the space.
Why these changes make perfect sense:
- changes capitalize off of deadlock's strengths (defensive aggression, funneling enemies to routes where you want them to be)
- they make deadlock a viable solo-sentinel, without making her encroach on the 'info-sentinel' space of killjoy and cypher
- they make her abilities synergize well with one another, improving her kit's cohesiveness
- by removing one sonic sensor charge, deadlock becomes less impactful (more balanced) for ranked where rushes are common plays
- the changes fit the idea of her as a 'reactive sentinel' as she can now react to attacker pressures with either her gravnet or her sensor (initially with her wall), increasing the longevity of her abilities for midrounding

Hello my Gf and I are now 6 months. We fell pretty fast in love and everything was good. She has borderline tho. She had a really bad past and i in therapy she also has a history with drugs and has still a alcohol problem. Yesterday we were out drinking at a bar.
I got really drunk and stoned too. Long story short i started fighting with a dude. he was saying i shouldnt touch her wven thonit was my girlfriend i told him that in a mad way and suddenly it started. I got jumped by 5 people and defend myself pretty good it didnt take long til lthe cops arrived and evyrthing deescalted. Just bad kick in the belly. After that i just wanted to go home there where its started. My gf said something like aw u wanna go home now I was really stressed agter the fight and I told her to leave me alone and that she shouldnt touvh me before i guess thats the reason why she said that
Well she maid fun off it and i just went with my friend and my gfs friend walked up to me and asked what happend i called her a bitch for making fun of me. Then my gf came up to me and told me to fuck off and punchend me in the face. And yeah i did ma mistakes but idk if i can really forgive her that We both have our issues but i never harmed her. I didnt wantes to fight but after getting jumped and my gf said that to me after i wanted to home i just got too mad and insulted her but that she shit just crossded the line.
She has borderline and was really drunk its not an excuse but facorts you should consider so i really need some advice if i should give her a second chance she is going to therapy she was really sorry even tho she cant remember anything of that but yeah Mb for the grammar but im lazy af and stoned appricate every comment

I have a CIBC debit card. Worked fine everywhere until about 2 weeks ago. Tried to use it at Costco gas bar. Wouldn't work. Went into the store and it wouldn't work there. Went to CIBC and replaced the card. Go back to Costco gas bar, it didn't work. Finally the gas attendant asked if I had the card in my Apple wallet. I tapped it and it worked! I then went inside the store. Card didn't work. Used the wallet again and it worked. Finally, went to a Metro store and couldn't tap or use it if I inserted the card. Used apple wallet with the debit card....
Buddy of mine just told me he was at a CIBC and people in the line were getting their debit cards replaced....what's going on with the cards? Is it a CIBC issue? Costco??
