So when WH says he's going to do something and doesn't what are your next steps? I asked him to talk to a friend who knows AP and find out if she's going to show up here or go home as she supposedly was diagnosed with cancer. He was uncomfortable asking and said he would 2 days ago. He said he'd ask tonight at the bar and didn't after being reminded twice. Things have been going well but he knows my anxiety is through the roof and did nothing because it made him uncomfortable. Finding out he was fucking her wasn't comfortable for me so a little discomfort seems small bit he was unwilling.
So do I stay or pack up and say fuck or or wait another day?

It’s nice talking to new people and trying to become friends. Ask or talk about whatever, I don’t mind! I’m pretty open-minded for the most part. I’m from California, I’m a gamer nerd (pls don’t ask “what games do you play,” there’s too many), and there really isn’t too much to me past that (or at least, nothing too interesting imo). It's not like I'm ugly. I get plenty of people swiping for me on dating apps. I consider myself average as least. I'm not conventionally attractive, or pretty but I'm not ugly.
I can't connect with people. I try, but it's difficult. Once we start talking face to face, they quickly figure out there's something wrong with me. Maybe it's my mannerisms, or the way I walk. I can't articulate my words verbally. They don't match what goes on in my head. I stumbled and stutter over words, making pauses where there aren't supposed to be. I know it's wrong, but I can't fix it. I sound, for lack of better words, retarded.
So they ghost me. Take advantage of me. Make fun of me. I'm used to it. I know that I'll never be on the same level as my peers. Which is upsetting, but it's something I've come to accept. Just like, statistically, I'll die single.
I don't want it to happen. I want to get married, fall in love. But I know it'll probably never happen.
It's not like I'm completely alone, I have my best friend. I love him with all my heart. But it's completely platonic. He's like a brother to me, and I'm like a little sibling to him. We hang out all the time. I don't mind not having any other friends, but I still feel lonely, romantically.
It's not like I cant feel love. I do. It's just never reciprocated. Which is fine. No one is obligated to love me just because I like them. But, neitherless, it makes me sad. It's okay to feel sad, I think. It's just coping with the situation.
Currently, I have feelings for someone. I've been pining after him for a year, now. I know it'll never happen, but I can't help it. It's not love. I don't belive I'm in love with him. Love is more complicated than that. No, I think I'm just...infatuated. Deeply infatuated with him. I can't help the way my hands shake when he stands too close, or how my heart skips a beat when we make eyecontact for too long, or how nervous I get when our hands accidentally brush when we are at work together.
We are coworkers, which complicates things.
I shouldn't be feeling these things for a coworker. He's always taking to girls online, trying to find a girlfriend. Sometimes I wish he would look at me that way. But that's messy, inappropriate work behavior.
He'll never look at me that way, because mentally, I'll never be on the same level as him.
And that's okay.

Hello everyone!
I’m looking for some advice regarding purchasing my first property. I have been house hunting for a few months now but am having no luck!
I’ve grown up in the inner south east of Melbourne and would prefer to buy around here as my family and work is all around here, although prices are absolutely through the roof.
A bit of context of my situation. I have a budget of 1.4m to 1.55m. I want to buy a house that I can eventually start a family in with a minimum of 3 bedrooms. I am not too keen on a townhome as if value having land as I have a big dog. Also the quality of most townhouses I’ve seen are shocking.
I’m stuck on buying an older brick home in the 1m range and doing a complete renovation, although I have limited knowledge and experience in home renovations and no idea about how much it’ll all cost.
Do I buy a property in the peninsula- what is the lifestyle like out there for a young couple?
Or do I buy an apartment in the CBD, I have lived in the CBD prior and do like the lifestyle, but the body corporate fees are ridiculous!
What would you do if you were looking to buy your first property in your mid 20s and want to make sure it’ll make a profit when you eventually sell in the future.
