Back when I was younger it seems like a very small amount of kids had specific food allergies and they even served peanut butter sandwiches in schools (they would never today) I'm thinking it has to do with the chemicals from all the increased processed/modified food in our society women are consuming during pregnancy. Has anyone else thought about this?

The Weird Stuff - A Series: Part 1
I’ve changed height 3 times in this journey. No it isn’t the way I was standing or shoes or socks. I started at 5’8”. Went down to 5.7” within about 2 months of starting my journey. Held there for some time (with regular measurements) and started maintenance there. Then up 1/2 inch in like 2 months. 5’7.5”. And now I’m back to 5’8” as of my latest measurement.
Lots of people will tell you it’s posture or time of day - but it has been my specialist measuring me and he said he’s seen it before though it isn’t common. And he’s been consistent about how & when he measured me.
His medical opinion is that the inflammation loss that I experienced at the beginning (I have inflammatory arthritis from autoimmune disease) may have actually reduced my stature temporarily. And then as the weight came off of me, the pressure off my joints etc could have allowed me to size back to my original height.
Yes, before you ask and try to WedMD me with some bone issue or weird disease from the Arctic Tundra … we’ve done tests on my bones (density and other healthy tests) and I’m good lol
So. I’m sharing because… well… it’s completely odd. And also - because I know I can’t have technically “grown” in a traditional sense. Yet here I am. Just add it to my shapeshifting abilities these days. Weird alien body 🤣
I’m going to share some more, one a time, if no one minds! I think it might be a fun series! 🤪😵💫🤷🏻♀️

2024.12.01 07:29 short-stuff13 Cramping but no bleeding. Could my IUD have shifted?
I have had a hormonal IUD for 5 years now. I just realized I got it December 2019 so it expires this month. I do not get periods with my IUD except some spotting here and there.
The last two days I have felt weird, slightly crampy but no bleeding. But it’s been consistent all day today to the point where it’s annoying me because I’m noticing it but it’s not really bad or anything. Just noticeable and annoying. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative.
The pain went away today and my husband and I tried to have sex and the pain started again.
He said he sometimes can feel the iud tip when we are in certain positions when he goes deep inside But he said tonight he could feel it but didn’t feel anything more than normal. He said it didn’t feel unusual.
Now I’m just paranoid. What if it shifted. I’m not sure if I could go to the ER and ask for them to check and make sure it’s good. I was planning on just keeping it in until I could get in to see my doctor to get another form of birth control.

2024.12.01 07:29 cyZ_ Anyone else have this recurring pain years after repair?
I had my inguinal hernia repair ~2 years ago. It took ~6 months post surgery to get back into exercise/weightlifting/Muay Thai training. I would consider myself a casual athlete, hours of daily training.
There's been 2 periods since then where I may have overdone training and the hernia location starts hurting again, forcing me to take ~6 months off to wait until it stops hurting again before slowly getting back into any form of exercise.
I wanted to know if anyone else experiences something like this? The first time it happened I went to the doctor and did a CT scan, didn't see anything wrong.
Now it's happening for the third time and I'm losing hope I'll ever be able to train again. I just recovered from the last time...
Would love to hear other people's experiences. Thanks.

When i say unpopular opinions, i mean actual unpopular opinions.
I’ll go first:
I know some people don’t like emma’s Rhaenyra (myself included)…but i must admit i don’t like matt smiths daemon. He doesn’t feel like a cunning, hot blooded rouge prince, but instead a petulant man-child who tries too hard to assert dominance. I don’t get the hype for him, i really don’t.
I honestly think ewan would’ve been better suited for the role of daemon. He has the looks, the presence and the range. Imo he could pull off the rogue prince role very well. Not saying matt smiths a bad actor, i just don’t think he suits the role of daemon.
