To whomever may be reading,
This is my attempt to stop hiding. To write without filters or facades. I don’t know if I’ll keep up with these entries every day, but I want to try. Writing feels like a lifeline right now—something to ground me while I wrestle with the things I can’t seem to escape.
Lately, I’ve been consumed by the idea of perspective—how it shapes the way we see the world and traps us in roles we never agreed to play. My own perspective has been heavy lately, and so has the weight of how others see me. I wonder if I’ve ever really been myself or if I’ve just been adapting, molding myself into the shape that feels safest for everyone else. But did anyone ever actually ask me to do that? Or did I assume that was the only way to be accepted? It’s exhausting, carrying the invisible pressure of expectations that might not even exist. I’ve always been a people pleaser, though I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s fear—fear of rejection, of being unloved, of being the villain in someone else’s story.
But I don’t know who I am without the performance. When I stop trying to please, when I strip away the masks, what’s left? It’s a question that terrifies me.
I’ve also been thinking about truth. About how it’s never singular. Every person has their own version, their own lens, their own “real.” I want to understand that, to accept it, but it’s hard to let go of my own view long enough to embrace someone else’s. Sometimes I wonder if I’m selfish, like I’m crying for the moon—reaching for something unattainable, something that was never mine to hold. I keep asking for things I can’t seem to give myself: love, acceptance, understanding. I don’t want to be that person anymore, but I don’t know where to start.
This is my start. My attempt at trying—trying to understand myself, trying to stop hiding, trying to feel real for once. Writing feels like my only way forward, even if it’s messy, even if it hurts, even if it leads nowhere. I don’t know what will come of this or if it will ever amount to anything, but for now, it’s what I have. Been dating a girl on and off for months, she has the looks, intelligence, and similar interest as me. However, my close sibling doesn’t like her and strongly advised me against continuing our relationship. Reason being, she’s not courteous enough.
For example, when she stayed over for one of the holidays and my family invited her to join them for dinner, she asked what was served and decline to join, all with the door closed. It made my family think she took things for granted.
I’m in my 30s and looking for a serious relationship to build on and quite disappointed that my family isn’t supportive of the relationship. Been watching and wanted to know if I got this correct. I’m finally getting a feel for Bryan and a winning more with safer play. Still learning frame data by experience.
Anyway, is this how combos work at the fullest (not including walls) at a high level?

so recently as i played more fleet and as i used her twitch skin more, i realized... she doesn't have any purple recoloured special abilities and shares the blue one instead. (compared to her other color palettes/skins). i tested it on other characters who has a twitch color palette, they were all purple. was this intended or they forgot to add it?

Since most people at uni are now on holiday, I wanted to talk about the students studying compsci. Most of the students that I saw that are studying compsci courses tends to wear glasses (way more than students I have seen studying other courses). Although there are only a few students in compsci that doesn't, most of the students that I had remembered in my compsci lectures and tutorials wears glasses. Even some people in compsci who doesn't use any eyeglasses yet tend to have a difficult time seeing things from a distance, such as what the lecturer is teaching during a lecture. Why is this the case for compsci students?
