Hi community, I am about to buy a Wiim Pro to listen to music but I would also like to use it in my small hometheatre. Is it possible to connect the optical output of my DVD to the Wiim Pro and have the sound output be on two simultaneous channels? I have a sound bar that I can connect it to in the optical output and a pair of active speakers that I could connect it in the line output. Is this possible? Thanks.

My colleague, F (21), and I (19) work the same job. In May 2024, award rates for casual sales workers increased to $31/hr on weekdays and $37/hr on weekends. I was hired after this and receive the updated rates, but F, despite working here two years longer and being older than me, is still being paid $28/hr on weekdays.
We don’t have HR, but I suggested she speak with our manager, who usually has our best interests at heart. Could this just be an oversight, or is it legal for companies to leave existing employees on old rates after an award increase?
Any advice?

2024.12.01 07:23 WelshPebble Soft Tissue Injury, how to treat it at home?
Hello, I am almost positive my dog has a Soft Tissue Injury, he almost fell off my bed the other say but managed to catch himself and has been limping since.
I reached out to a Vet and after going through some questions and examining his paw it was concluded that he does in fact have a Soft Tissue Injury, I know he needs rest so I have limited him to his cage if he’s not eating, drinking or going to the toilet.
I have also been advised to use a wet towel with an ice pack for 5 minutes 2/3 times a day for 48 hours, so this is a really stupid question but if it’s his front left paw how do I hold the ice pack? So far I have rotated it around his paw, moving to the next side after about a minute, is that the correct way to do it? Sorry for asking such a stupid question I just want to make sure I am doing it correctly.

Tengo 28 años, no tengo familia ( contacto cero con padres y familiares narcisista) la única persona que me apoya es mi tío y sus hijos. No tengo casa y mi trabajo me genera unos $1000 al mes, mis deudas son $3500.
Después de vivir muchos años manteniendo toda la casa de mis padres, decidí buscar un poco de independencia y eso fue un problema, mis padres me manipulaban demasiado y me aislaban de las demás personas.
Decido irme de casa después de una terrible depresión de la cual pude salir gracias a mis terapias, mi tía me acogió en su casa y me ayudó a salir adelante.
Deje a un lado totalmente mi persona por ellos, aumente de peso de manera horrible, eso deterioro mi autoestima, no pude estudiar pues tenía los gastos de la casa, no tengo ahorros por lo mismo.
Este año tuve un intento de s.... Del cual me siento culpable, no estoy feliz de quedarme, pero se que no era mi tiempo
He pensado mucho en irme del país, no tengo nada que me amarre aquí. No tengo pareja o hijos, prácticamente no tengo familia y siempre he sentido que no pertenezco aqui.
No sé por dónde empezar y como buscar la mejor opción para poder irme y empezar de cero. Quiero irme y hacer mi vida en otro lugar por qué aquí no voy a hacer nada

I really wanted RR 310. But TVS is pathetic being in a metro city I am not even getting test ride. There is no proper response from TVS. Employees are worse than SBI employees at lunch break. Now please suggest me some other options in similar budget. Duke 390 would cost me almost 50k more. Husky will cost 30k more. I do not like how husky looks. Guerrilla 450 looks okayish. People say duke 250 doesnt have that punch and it is boring to ride. Test ride wise I have already tried speed 400, guerrilla 450, RTR 310. Booked test ride of duke and husky. Is it possible for back pain to chance to shoulder pain if it's nerve related? So, I've been suffering for about 3 years now with lower back pain, I've been told by numerous people and professionals that it's sciatica. Now the lower back pain is almost all gone but, my shoulders are really hurting in certain movements, most movements to be honest. I've recently had an mri scan on my lower back and awaiting results. I'd have to wait another 6-8 weeks for another scan and I just want to know what people think or have experience in the past. Does nerve pain move from lower back to your Shoulders? The pain feels like it's in between the ball and socket of my shoulder, if that makes sense.

 | I have these Zimmermann boots that are really cool looking but utterly unwearable - the heel is too high (for me), the sole is rock hard and angled weirdly, and they are so slippery it's like walking on an ice rink. I was just taking photos to sell them on marketplace but it reminded me how much I love the soft suede upper and its unique colour and design. I was wondering how feasible it would be to get them totally resoled and heeled, with a lower heel of say 1" (currently 2.5") and a sole that is more flexible and with better grip?
