All options require you choose the total quantity of aliens at the start. Number can’t be changed once prep time starts. You won’t be paid for killing offspring. You aren’t blamed afterwards for any collateral.
Option 1 “Doomslayer” = $250k per alien: 10min prep time, immediate funds, the aliens blindly come right for you with zero other strategy. You can summon handheld projectile guns like in the matrix (no tanks, bombs, or flamethrowers etc), but weapons cost you what they would IRL. Acid blood is not as deadly but more like a battery acid.
Option 2 “Teamwork” = $1 million per alien: 3 hours prep time, immediate funds, aliens are sneakier and slightly more patient. Nobody (including aliens) can leave that town until either you or all aliens are dead. Anyone you physically touch during prep time will believe your warning. Aliens can reproduce up to the population of that town.
Option 3 “Open World” = at $10 million per alien: 1 week prep time, immediate funds, xenomorphs are intelligent tacticians and very patiently work together. Your ONLY powers are knowing how many aliens are left and the location of only the nearest alien. Aliens can only reproduce up to their original quantity at the start. No town boundaries.

Thinking of upgrading my 5600 non-X to a 5700X3D and wondering if my old cooler is up to the task. I know the 212 isn't what it used to be but this PC was initially assembled in like 2019. For reference my 5600 gets up to 65-68 degrees during Cinebench, but during actual gaming it's mid-50s, low 60's at worst.
I'd really prefer not to have to update the cooler since it uses a special backplate, so I'd need to scavenge for my old backplate and try to put it back on. I've only ever seen a test with the 5800X3D which I would assume runs a bit hotter.

Can’t sleep because I’m thinking about the fact that we have scientific evidence that life can be “created” naturally with organic compounds, and from early Earth it went through a vicious evolutionary cycle which led to us: hairless monkeys using Reddit. As much as this evidence would disprove the theory that we were created by an omnipotent being, I’m still curious as to why I’m existing as myself, why am I me? Existing as a person who lives in a medically and technologically advanced nation in an advanced world in what seems like one of the most important time periods in human history. Also, another thought, we believe that advanced life was an extreme stroke of luck because of our evidently lone existence in our universe (to this point). However, my thinking is that maybe it’s not as lucky as we think because of the observer effect which states that something doesn’t exist unless it has an observer, which means that the issue of advanced life, or life in general being rare is irrelevant because the space in which it emerges from technically doesn’t exist until it has a biological observer, which would mean that the true odds of life have to be 100%, otherwise the space doesn’t really exist. Ok time to put the pipe down.
TLDR: Do we have a creator? Why am I me? Is observer effect valid?
