Disclaimer: I'm listening to the podcast version from the very beginning so I'm not up to date with the newest episodes. So far I'm at episode 83 or so ..
Something bothers me since the first 20 episodes and I can't remember which episode it was but it was Jessi talking about her husband and that he grew up in Algeria and speaks French in other episodes, and then there was this episode where she said he's European??
It was real quick before they had a topic change but I relistened to it so many times and just wondered if he has a citizenship in an European country or what she meant with that.
She must know that... Algeria is not in Europe? She must know that this makes him African, right? Unless there's more to it.
It was so quick that I wonder if she just misspoke but it bothered me so discovering this sub, I just have to ask.
I'm asking because I'm curious not to hate on anyone 😅

I recently received a CP504B Notice claiming I didn’t file my company tax return for 2023, with added interest on a penalty. However, the return was filed on time with an extension and sent before the extended deadline.
On January 8th, I spoke with an IRS agent who confirmed they had received both the return and the extension. The agent abated the penalty and fees, assured me my account was clear with nothing owed, and said I would receive a letter confirming this.
Despite this, I received the CP504B notice today, dated January 13th, which seems to completely disregard the resolution from my call on the 8th. The notice not only has the original penalty but also adds interest and threats to levy my bank account or send me to collections. They're saying I need to respond within 30 days, yet nothing seemed to have happened when I spoke to them last time??
What should I do next? I believed this issue was resolved, but the situation appears to be escalating instead.
