2025.01.18 05:10 Southern_Mango_1928 My "work" alter won't front
We have an alter that takes over and takes care of working and life management tasks. I've never had this experience of needing them to take over because she's always just done her job. But lately she hasn't been taking over and we've missed a lot of work and are buried in debt because of it. I don't know what to do about this. From what I know, she's the only one who does it, maybe her and one more alter that rarely appears and I don't know how to bring them forward. Most of the other alters are either littles, stuck in trauma times, or only front for the things they want to do, like hobbies. I still don't know enough about my system to know which alter I am, but I'm not the work alter. I know I myself struggle to go to our job, it's just something I don't feel motivated for or ready to do. Every second feels like hell. But we are in so much debt and it needs to be done. I know sometimes I will go to work and then the work alter takes over, but getting there is the issue, because there's also another alter that puts us back into a depressing mindset and delays us from going to work. Does anyone have any advice for this? I'm thinking now, maybe I can try and figure out what would make her front. Maybe I know more about her than I can easily see. If I'm right, I think she loves hoop earrings and has a Spanish accent. I'm thinking maybe I can try and wear the hoop earrings and dress like she does and maybe it'll trigger her to front. Sometimes going through old photos will trigger an alter to front because they see a picture of themself.

Has anyone ever seen a stat about what percentage of matches are won by the larger competitor? Size is obviously not a determinative factor as we see smaller rikishi win most days. But it does seem the larger wrestler wins the majority of the time. Possible my perception is wrong. Just wondering if any stats speak to this. More broadly, any good resources for Sumo statistics? Interested if to what degree sumo has been statistically analyzed like other modern sports.
