A few days after finishing 38 sessions of radiation a difficult family situation arose. I made a decision that cost me a lot of money and didn’t improve the situation at all. I’m 76 and can’t believe I did what I did as it was entirely unlike me. I think I can straighten it out (can’t get the money back) but if I ever need more radiation I’ll make sure to wait a few weeks before making any important decisions. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

As for my positive findings, Arachnodactyly (thin long fingers, positive thumb and wrist sign), mild pectus excavatum, skin striae (appeared on my back, hips, sides of my knees at the age of 14 and striae have not recurred), long thin face, myopia is not extreme 1, astigmatism 2.50, I have hypermobile fingers but only on my hands and wrists, the rest of my body is not that flexible, I don't know if I have skin elasticity but the forearm stretches 3 cm but I think it should be measured from the inside of the wrist to get a more accurate measurement, that stretches 1.5 cm. As for the ones that don't, there is no ectopia lentis, echocardiography is not abnormal, there is no dural ectasia, I don't have flat feet, my wingspan is proportional to my height, I don't tire easily, my blood pressure is 12/8 even at 190 bpm, there is no known history of Marfan or hereditary connective tissue disease in my family, I think I have palpebral fissures normal, my head circumference is normal, the genetic tests performed are as follows, FBN 1 whole gene sequence analysis (NORMAL), WES (NORMAL), FBN 1 Micro Array (Deletion, Duplication) NORMAL. Looking at these findings, is it more likely that I do not have a hereditary connective tissue disease or is it more likely that I have one?
