2025.01.18 05:11 ElPrecursor This game drains you completely (Sad thoughts about ranked matches )
I just don't get it. As a jungler, I played for objectives, had a KDA around 3, played my mains , and maintained a positive win rate . Then, all of a sudden, LoL throws in your face trolls, people who are playing the camp for the first time , and those in Gold who don't seem to understand that they need to support the team while doing objectives.
This is not a post complaining about my inability to climb. Long story short , two days ago I played a game that felt amazing. Everyone was focused on objectives, fighting for vision, and diving when needed... It was like the essence of LoL in a Gold - ranked game. I had a blast and felt that with people at my level, I could get the most fun out of the game.
Then things started to worsen . Little by little , that game (and some others I've played ) felt distant . And then, out of the blue, you reach the point at which, at the same level with supposedly the same kind of players, you are CONSISTENTLY matched with people who from the start want to ruin your game and the games of others who just want to have a regular experience.
And that's my point. Let's face it. Ranked system in LoL is broken. We all know that. And it is not because you cannot climb in it, it is because the experience is so volatile to the point that you don't even know if you are going to have fun when you boot up the game. That's a sad reality. A reality thath they don't want to fix because it creates just what they really want: ADDICTION.
But hey, here we are. So I guess we have what we deserve.

2025.01.18 05:10 Radiant-Ad-9753 My doctor got a drug approved with UHC- It's been nothing but headaches since then
My doctor had to obtain a prior authorization for medication called spravato from United Healthcare. It was not on the formulary. The first request was denied, and the second prior authorization with a doctor was approved. I did quality for the medication
Since then, every single claim from this provider (the last five in a row) have been singled out for a claim letter (basically a audit). This medication is not inexpensive, it costs over $1125 per dose, and I am unable to receive it without the visit to the provider because of REMS restrictions on administration set by the FDA. This feels particularly retaliatory as they were not auditing claims before this approval this and puts a undo administrative burden on the provider.
I called United Healthcare and they blamed it on a potential AI glitch. I filed a grievance. Their response was that " Are being placed on hold by program and integrity Unit for medical records" and I am assuming they meant the provider. But basically the response was that it's their right to do this
I now received a letter requesting that I make a payment to UHC for the first claim letter they approved for a overpayment with no explanation on how they came to that determination that I owe them the money. I feel like UHC is trying to intimidate me into stopping my treatment plan. (It's a ERISA plan, FYI)
Does anyone have any advice for navigating this?
