I just started a new job. It was my first day training with this person. She asks me to justify every decision I make to her. She won’t explain anything to me and tells me to “look it up” if I have questions. I asked her if we had any resources I could use so I could get more information? She then asks me how old I am (I’m early 30’s). She rolled her eyes and said only people in their early 20’s ask for resources.
She is unhinged and I don’t want it to affect my performance evaluation. Should I tell my supervisor?

Years ago I watched this movie and I’ve been searching for it since. It’s a break in (home invasion) movie and I believe it was more of an indie film because I’ve never heard of it prior to finding it or after watching it. So here’s what I remember a family (mom dad young son teen daughter and her boyfriend) go on a trip (I believe) or possibly move to a new home. a specific scenes i recall are the dad and boyfriend grilling burgers out on a balcony. I also believe I remember that the parents both get hurt or die when the break in first happens and the sister is with the young brother who has to go to the garage to get his medicine (asthma attack maybe) and I believe they get hit by the car in the garage. I’m sorry this is not really well written like I said it’s been years and I don’t recall much of the movie. I hope someone is able to point me in the right direction of finally finding my lost movie!

Long story short a friend of mine got out in 2018, the hospital he was seen at retires records after 2-3 years and the national archives dont have any records with them and he has multiple injuries from his 10 years in the infantry that he didnt know he could claim. Does anyone have any information on how he can find these ? or any avenues he can go down to claim it to VA?

If you think about it, Jimmy probably had a huge hand in developing all the young guys that currently have, and they’re great but you’re not winning a title with Tyler Herro as your second best player.
They actually missed on every single big free agent or possible trade they were linked to (harden, dame, beal etc) mean while jimmy is looking at all of his division and conference rivals continuously get better and make adjustments to the rosters. Bucks get Damian Lillard, Heat get Kyle Lowry. Celtics get Jrue Holiday, Heat get Terry Rozier. Sixers get Paul George, Heat get Kevin Love.
And then you see what Bam looks like this year, there’s no way he should just be ok giving up the rest of his nba years playing for an unserious team

2025.01.18 04:50 DiligentCellist5711 38m: I’m so tired of being alone, a desire to avoid being with the wrong one has led to a lonely life.
I’m incredibly lonely and trying to break some old habits, I’m hopeful but suffering. I’m introverted and deal with a lot of social anxiety so I don’t go out much and don’t meet a lot of new people. I started smoking weed when I was 19 and have been a daily user ever since, or at least up until a month ago when I found the will to stop. I used to think it helped with my anxiety but realize now it just numbed me and helped mask the symptoms.
I am close with my family, three sisters and parents, and am able to make close work friends but I struggle maintaining relationships of any kind. I cancel plans until people stop calling, and I’m glad cuz I least I don’t have to make up lies anymore. I’ve had a handful of short term relationships but nothing more than a few months, and it’s embarrassing. I have always been a hopeless romantic but have never sniffed love, although I thought I did a couple times.
I get plenty of attention from women, just not the ones in interested in. I’m pretty attractive but haven’t been able to get out of my own head, and apartment. I have a gigantic crush on this girl from work and my imagination and tendency to obsess is causing me a lot of pain right now. I need to get over her, she knows and she has flirted with me a lot but has a bf and healthy boundaries. Although I did send the message that I’d like to get to know her if her circumstances change, the ball is in her court but I still really struggle not to think about her. I feel like I have terrible romantic luck on top of it all.
I’m trying to turn my life around but my anxiety with romance is so intense and crippling. In the last 6 months I have quit nicotine, THC and have generally been living a much healthier lifestyle to try to dig my way out of this hole. Getting off THC has brought a lot of emotions back and I need to deal with them. I got back into therapy yesterday and plan to work on these things. I’m tired of being alone. I’m tired of being lonely. I’m tired of hiding away in a hole when I should be living my life. I’m glad I’m 38 and not 48 but still experiencing a lot of regret for so many lost years.
I just need encouragement and empathy from those who know this feeling. DM’s are welcome.
