Really incredible meal, ranks in the upper echelon of Japanese fine dining I’ve had in the US. The service was also great, unfortunately my dining partner had a little bit too much to drink and threw up on the main course (I know I know, I tipped very well and apologized profusely) and they were really cool about it. 1) uni and tofu 2) winter owan with kegani, mushrooms and a crab pastry reminiscent of a fish cake 3) crab roe sauce, can’t remember what the protein underneath was but it was a very good dish. 4) I think abalone, sorry should’ve taken better notes 5) buri with aged soy sauce 6) toro, tai, amaebi sashimi 7) mushroom soup with Japanese sweet potato 8) wagyu shabu shabu 9)kegani rice bowl with miso soup 10) saba zushi
Dipped out on dessert to get my friend home safe. Overall, one of the best meals I’ve had and the equal of the best places on the west coast (where I lived until recently) except for hayato.

Hi guys. Can anybody share some insights on my dilemma. Im a lady driver and I have been driving my hyundai i10 for years now. My family owns a TOTL 2018 MUx na alagang alaga ng tatay ko. I have been saving up for a new car na din and while discussing kung ano bibilhin ko na bring up ng parents ko na why not buy the MUx from them for 800k instead of buying a brand new one (baka ang afford ko lang is a cheaper car than the MUx).
Syempre kahit pwede naman ibigay sakin ng parents ko yung kotse, ayoko naman magpalibre sakanila (to prove na kaya ko sarili ko)
So what do you think po is that a good deal o bili nalang ako sarili ko? If bibili kasj ako, ang kaya lang ng means ko is something below 1.3m

Nathan Anderson, the founder of Hindenburg, said the stress and personal toll were just too much to keep going. Can’t blame the guy—it’s gotta be tough constantly going up against billionaires and corporations. Hindenburg became the name in short selling, especially after their bombshell report on Adani Group in early 2023. They accused Adani of wild stuff like stock manipulation and fraud. That one report alone wiped billions off Adani’s valuation and shook up India’s markets big time. The firm’s been around since 2017 and made a career out of exposing scams and shady practices. From Nikola’s “fake truck” scandal to the Adani drama, these guys were the watchdogs no one wanted sniffing around. They even got regulators to act on some of their findings, which is rare in this kind of business. But now, Anderson’s done. Over the next six months, he’s planning to open-source Hindenburg’s methods so others can keep the torch burning. 2025.01.18 05:00 Halpenya Why are we obsessed about signing Vlad to an extension?
If the FO plans to build around him and seriously be a contender, I’m 100% on board.
However, if they’re going to continue to do nothing, I’m really not sure what we get out of signing him to a $400M+ contract. Is it just so when we suck, there’s something to look forward to? My analogy would be Trout and the Angels. They’re a terrible team and I’m sure the only thing Angels fans look forward to every game is watching Trout play. However, is that really worth that much money?
How many people are actually saying “I’m not going to go to a Jays game because they traded Vlad?” Is there something else I’m missing? Because if we suck again in 2025, I find it hard to justify that much money for one player.
