looking for a primitive camping spot for a groupe of 20-30 young adults from my church, either south in the Blue Mountains, or north, in the Border Ranges. Ideally set up for larger groups, to avoid having to book 5 individual sites, with access to potable water, and showers. But could be just tent camping without those amenities. Any suggestions welcome!

My mom just died a few weeks ago. She was my best friend, main pillar of support and very involved Nana to my 1.5yo son.
I guess I'm looking for any books that can help me through this and leave me with some sense of comfort or hope. I'm not religious and would prefer to stay away from anything rooted in that or with any kind of toxic "everything happens for a reason" vibe. I am okay with anything that depicts a non-secular afterlife, as long as it's not super heavy on the Christianity aspect of things.
Memoirs, fiction, non-fiction are all on the table. Really anything you've read that you found extremely comforting while in the stages of grief.

2025.01.18 05:40 sh0egrubz losing my mind at home
i’m home for winter break, have been since december 13th snd will be until jan 31st. i feel like im losing my mind. im so bored. my three roommates are back at school, doing winter classes and they all live in state while im out of state.
i’ve finished multiple books and played video games and i have no idea what else to do these last two weeks or so. i want to work but my manager is being flimsy and wont respond or give me hours, and i have no money. i cant think of anything to do that doesnt cost money. i feel like im going stir crazy because the only thing i can do is stay at home and do the same 10 things ive been doing or go do something that’ll cost me money. like im at a loss.
and im not mad or upset with my roommates at all i just wish i was there with them. i guess technically i could go back but i dont know. it’s getting closer to the next semester starting but i just. i feel like im genuinely going to go insane. especially since all the rest of my friends are already back at their schools. please give me suggestions 😔😔

2025.01.18 05:40 Baboopolis Extra Uber (Eats) Charge after ride
Just want to start off saying I rarely use Uber and have used Uber Eats exactly once before. The other day I ordered a ride which totaled around $20 and I tipped $5 after the ride. When I checked my PayPal account I noticed a third charge of $6.27 to Uber Eats approximately 3-4 hours after my ride. This wasn’t me. I tried to dispute it with PayPal and they said it was authorized.
I checked my uber eats account and there is no record of the transaction. I know it’s not much but I want to get to the bottom of it so I can stop it from happening again. Already changed my PayPal and uber passwords.
Anyone else deal with this? Seems too coincidental that it happened the same day I take a ride. I feel like Uber messed up.

Recusei obviamente, mas ele me mandou mensagem para eu retornar ele, etc. O que é aconselhável fazer nessas horas? É perigoso eu visualizar essas mensagens ou respondê-las? Não que eu vá responder, mas né. Ele me mandou uma sequência de emojis muito questionável após eu recusar a ligação.
Tem alguma configuração do WhatsApp que eu possa estar ativando para que simplesmente eu não receba mais essas ligações e mensagens bizarras?
