Were the apostles undoubtedly aware of the existence of the creed and even responsible for it? Or is it possible this was developed and circulated without their knowledge. Even the latest dating of the creed place it within the lifetime of Peter, James and John.
Paul makes a distinction between “the twelve” and “all the apostles”. Who is Paul referring to as all the apostles?
Is there any consensus on whether the apparition to the 500 was based on a real event and if Paul actually knew some of the people involved, or if it was purely invented by someone else.

Has anyone noticed improvements from having a better diet? I started eating more veggies/protein/fruits etc. I’ve noticed I have more energy throughout the day especially in the mornings. Mornings and nights are the worst for me physically. My body still feels in shambles, but I’ve been waking up earlier than normal. Usually I lay in bed for hours until the last minute when I need to get up. I still feel awful, but some how not as terrible. It’s just been recently and the only thing I have been doing differently is drinking alcohol less, less sugar, more water, and the foods I mentioned. Is there a correlation here? I still have my symptoms just I noticed a difference in energy.

2025.01.18 05:51 pbj_sammichez My first houseboat in SOTF and I'm pretty stoked

My favorite strategy for soloing hard mode in the 1st game was to build a houseboat on the ocean so I could store some shit in a spot where enemies couldn't reach me. I could always sleep overnight, and I could take the boat with me. I could swim to shore and move inland to explore during the day, then move back out to the water at nightfall. Now I have that same ability. I'm gonna have to do a new hard survival playthrough. Things I discovered with the houseboat:
1) If you want electricity, you have to put the wires up in the structure first. I put up the solar panels and batteries up top and then tried to connect it to the beams. The game didn't give me the option to place the wires. So I jumped down and noticed I could put wires on the structure's beams, so I wired them up. Once I had a destination for the live wire coming from the solar panel, I could connect it. I'm just gonna pretend this is safety. Our hero knows he is wiring up a BOAT. A fucking boat on saltwater. Holy mother of electrocution, Batman! He's just being extra cautious.
2) You can build storage on the boat. I have a small log holder, firewood holder, and some wall shelves in my first houseboat. I also put a raincatcher up top so I have a way to gather clean water. I might build more of them.
3) You cannot free-build logs onto the existing structure. I don't play with mods, so that might be different for you. I built a bed on my houseboat, and other furniture seems allowed. The game simply doesn't give the option of adding logs anywhere to the houseboat's structure. I also haven't tried adding on with the other raft designs, but I'm assuming you can still run SUPER lean (like the 1st game) and put a stick bed on a small raft. Gives you a safe save point, at least.
4) Mooring the boat seems to be optional. I haven't tried leaving the boat just sitting on the water for more than a few minutes at a time, but it doesn't seem to drift at all on the ocean. Maybe that's meant for the rivers.
5) Kelvin will swim out to the houseboat, but Virginia seems unwilling. It's ok - having her patrol the shoreline near the boat with a pistol and shotgun is not so bad.
6) I was allowed to place the weapon upgrader on the boat. I didn't build the whole thing, but I was able to place the plan. I also noticed I could build platforms out in the ocean, where it's too deep to walk. I was also allowed to fill up a log holder on the boat, meaning I can deliver logs to where I want them. This has me thinking: maybe i can build a couple of small platforms out in the deep water. I can put the upgraders on those platforms and activate them. Then I get on the boat that I ferried my logs with and paddle away. If the enemies spawn onshore, they can't reach me. If the enemies spawn in a radius around the upgrader, they'll drown before they can damage the platform and compromise the setup. For solo hard survival, I can't think of anything better without straight up cheating.
I might have missed something here. Anybody else have anything? I'm pretty stoked. I just checked Steam and I have well over 500 hours into this game, but this update has me excited again. For reference, I put like 300 hours into the first game in a few months, then I started playing SOTF on day 1 of early access. I have tried and failed more times than most people reading this have even tried. It's not an easy game. I am tired of easy games. I like the challenge of progressing through the early caves to get the shovel. It tests your patience and planning and I fucking love it. Then you get the shotgun but you don't have unlimited ammo, so you have to savescum it to pick up ammo or run from unfavorable fights (which also requires you to recognize unfavorable fights). I am up to strength level 55 on day 121 of my game with my houseboat. I chop down trees without a food buff in, like, 3-5 swings of my solafite-coated fireman's axe. My solafite-coated katana feels like cheating, but I earned it by fighting those fucking raid waves. I earned that shit! Now, maybe I can get it by building the upgrader on a platform in the ocean. Less satisfying, but still better than using cheatstick.

I had been talking to this guy for three months, we did the whole shabang, and then he let his ex girlfriend start controlling his life. They are best friends, which I understand and am willing to accept. I just started talking to him again after he reached out and asked to apologize. I agreed, and I went to hear what he had to say. He explained that he was not in a good spot and it was still unsure at the time what him and his ex were. That she had been the one to block all females (which I do know is true), and that they had started talking about getting back together. He says he’s officially done and calls her a spawn of Satan. They broke up before we started talking, on good terms, after 4 years. He said he wants to make things right and try again with me. The issue here is, he said it would be a slow process which I understand, but he doesn’t really talk to me. He’s treating me similar to how it was the first time, if not the exact same. He’s still prioritizing his ex, but is actively pursuing me. I do my best to reach out and make plans, they either dont happen, or are agreed to and never happen. I try not to spam, but he instantly replies to his ex. He went on a rant about her, explaining his frustrations and a part of this rant was about his reply time to her. He was complaining that she leaves him on read for three hours when he replies right away. That he can see her active and he knows she’s ignoring him. Yet, he will leave me on delivered for hours, if he replies same day. I don’t see much effort in trying to make amends yet. In my head she’s basically his wife, I can’t see anything else with this treatment. I want to have faith in his word as when we are together I have his full attention and things are great. Im questioning if this is even going to be worth it in the long run. What do I do? Please help 🙌

I’m turning 22 soon, and I’ll be applying for osap but I’m starting next fall.
I need some reassurance, im currently, well I have one credit card that already in collections and another, in collections. One is $1200, another is $500. I’m laid off work, I haven’t paid both in 6 months. I know, it’s terrible.
I asked my financial advisors, they told me it won’t affect my osap as long as I pay it off before I apply? Is this true? Idk why, I’m having doubts man. I also have my phone bill that I’m trying to pay off as well. Fyi, I’m going to have them paid off soon. I know, it’s bad.

Despite Leth's "announcement", that this is thing was all a "nothingburger", I'm still focused on the fact that William made the changes to his account(assuming it really is his) and made the tweet BEFORE the Switch 2 reveal trailer, which included the reveal that the Nintendo Direct will take place on April 2nd.
This, to me, indicates that Team Cherry knew that the Switch 2 would be revealed yesterday, and that they knew the direct would be taking place on April 2nd. This would mean that Team Cherry IS working with Nintendo on something(hopefully Silksong related), and for whatever reason they had to retract or cancel this "ARG" since they started it too early.
It's possible that I'm just overthinking this in an attempt to salvage some semblance of hope after this whole situation. But I haven't completely lost hope for the Nintendo Direct and I hope I'm not alone. What are your thoughts on this?
