Posted on /flooring before I found out where the real hardwood flooring pros hung out.
We're installing unfinished oak hardwood in half of our home to match the original wood floors in the other half, and then refinishing everything.
We were told by someone that this floor is likely a mix of red and white oak, but my amateur eyes are unsure. What does it look like to y'all? Red? White? A mix?
Is all unfinished oak pretty much the same, as long as it's the same grade?
Or, is there a difference between Floor and Decor, Lumber Liquidators, Hurst, or finding a local place when it comes to unfinished flooring?
Also, any tips on matching as close to the old flooring as possible? Or is just making sure I get domestic select oak all that's necessary?

Hello! Just wanna know why my Scorp friend is acting this way? Okay I like him (so much) and he knows it, I'm showing it too, but whenever I'm asking I can't get any answer he's just shifting the topic to here and there and ofcourse as I'm getting used with Scorps traits I got it already (he doesn't like to answer period) I don't wanna force and okay I respect! But I'm wondering why on earth he need to act like a lover to me.
Like when I'm giving something with my family, he's bugging that why would I give just much like I could've give more instead. He wants me to also bring my family to where I'm currently living (other country) so that I will be having company at home. When he's visiting my place (we never had s*x or any intimate thing gosh!) every single time he's calling my name as if I'll get lost :) and yeah he's opening about some of his emotions and past exp and what not.
Can you give some idea, is there something or am I just assuming things and how can I get him admit his feelings? (been a year since we met and dated :))

Like in the first arc of pre time skip, Romance dawn arc focuses on the formation of the straw hat crew and luffy defeats Arlong who is a fishman and freed Nami's home and at the end of the arc, they are attacked by marines but escape safely. In the first arc of post time skip,Fishman island arc focuses on the reformation of straw hat crew after 2 years of training. They visit Fishman island and stop Hody Jones from taking over fishman island, they are also attacked by the marines at the end of this arc but since it was filler arc after this arc, i dont know if i should include it or no.
In the Second arc of Pre time skip, In the Alabasta arc, the straw hat crew meets Miss wednesday who was at first seems like an antagonist but turns out to be the princess of Alabasta and the straw hat crew try to help her. The kingdom of alabasta was going to be taken over by Crocodile who was a war lord who seemed invincible at first and rebel army was slowly planning to kill the king who they thought was responsible for the lack of rain in the rest of regions in alabasta. Luffy had to use gear 0 water luffy to finally defeat Crocodile and stopped the rebel armies from killing Vivi's Father who was the king. In the second arc of post time skip, The straw hat crew meets Trafalgar law who was an antagonist but then forms an alliance with them to stop Doflamingo and Kaido. The kingdom of Dressrosa was taken over by Doflamingo who was a war lord who also seemed invincible at first and the rebel army was formed by kyros who had become a toy soldier and wanted to kill the king(Doflamingo). Luffy had to use gear 4 to finally defeat Doflamingo and sent Doflamingo to jail. Both these arcs included Zoro showing off his strength and Go. D .Ussop being a bum but epic fighter (Im not say strawhats because half of the strawhats went to zou at this point in dressrosa arcs)
In the third arc of the pre time skip, In Skypiea arc, Skypiea is a fantastical place and was a myth in jaya island but strawhats reach skypiea and the Going Merry is a bit smashed up by one of Eneru's priests. Luffy defeats Eneru and saves the kingdom of Skypiea from being destroyed. in the third arc of post time skip, Whole cake island seems like a dream world for people like Luffy,chopper and carrot. They went to Zou and found out what happened to Sanji and Saved him at the end of the arc.Luffy couldn't defeat Big mom but he did defeat Katakuri after a long battle. The Thousand sunny is also Smashed up by big mom if i remember correctly but not as much damage was done to it compared to the going merry. Both arcs have luffy being a badass and Sanji being cool as hell.
In the 4th arc of the pre time skip, In Water 7 , The straw hats(except Ussop) showed off their power which they had gained because of the previous fights in the previous arcs and them improving their methods of fighting . All of the strawhats(except Ussop) here had a bloody fight which nearly cost them their lives but they won. This is the arc where Gear 2 and Gear 3 was introduced . they escaped the marines at the end of the Enies lobby arc and went back to water 7 to have a huge party. In the 4th arc of the post time skip, In Wano,All of the strawhats(except Ussop) showed off their power which they had gained by training during time skip. All of the strawhats(except Ussop😭) had a bloody battle which nearly cost them their lives but they won. This is the arc where Gear 5 was introduced. The admiral who came to capture the strawhats was defeated by Shanks using blue tooth haki and Some help from Akazuya Nine and Momo . In Both these arcs, We didnt have Ussop fighting anyone.(Oda pls make him fight someone stronger than him and win)
I cant say anything bout egghead arc since the anime is continuing from april onwards. But i got different vibes from Thriller Bark arc and Egghead arc when i was first watched these. Thanks for listening me yap
