I'm a forever DM looking to be a player for the first time in a while. I have plenty of experience with TTRPGs in general, but I'm pretty new to PF2e (I have been running my own game bi-weekly for about a year). My preferred balance of play is roughly 70/30 RP to combat. I'm okay with combat; I just don't like dungeon crawls.
I have a character concept pre-planned. A puppeteer who uses a puppet familiar as a combat tool (Kankuro from Naruto style). I'm hoping for a game using the Free Archetype alt rule. The build uses the Witch class with a Rouge multi-class and requires some minor homebrew reskinning of abilities (ex: chilling spray as wooden splinters that do piercing damage instead of cold). They are a performer, so campaigns in or around populated areas regularly are what I'm seeking.
I'm very open to stories being told, so I don't have a specific theme or style I like more than others. I'm also open to both free and paid games. I can play weekly or bi-weekly on really any day of the week, with absences every so often due to life as usual. If I sound like a player that would match your game, please DM me!

Not sure if anyone's ever asked but has anyone successfully found a dark theme for GuitarPro? This software reminds me of a coding IDE but I'm sad because I have both GP7 and GP8 but I don't see any ability to change the theme or color in preferences/settings. Curious if anyone out there has added their own config files.

It's been 3 months I bought Hness, it's run 2000 kms. Got the first servicing done. Cleaned and lubed chain every 500 kms.
I usually cold start and wait for the RPM to get lower before shifting to 1st gear. But I'll say 3 in 10 times, it creates a cranking sound (kat..kat..kat) while shifting from neutral to 1st gear and doesn't feel as smooth as other times while shifting. This doesn't happen while shifting from any other gears. Once the bike is up and running, it doesn't happen again.
I told the local garage but they didn't pay mich attention and said it will go away after chain lubing. But it didn't. What can be the cause?

Greetings,
My objective here is to distill the process of raising the rent about 36% within the next ~6 months in a way that does not create a legal problem / liability.
California AB 1482 seems not relevant to this housing situation but I need to be sure there are no other legal issues.
This is a 3 bedroom house and I have just the couple as renters, nobody else. They rent the master suite together.
This couple has been in the house for 2.5 years. They are increasingly irresponsible. In the last week they have left the outside door unlocked at night at least two days in a row, didn't remember / neglected to take out or return the trash / recycling bins from the street, and "forgot" to pay for the utilities on time again, details of which are sent on the first or second day of every new month.
I need to be sure I do it legally. I am not in a big city. I've asked if the city / county have any rent control policies and they have not responded.
I need to raise the rent as they are taking my time, energy, money, attention, and happiness. I want to raise the rent about 36%. This would be the first rent increase I have made with anyone, ever. I can wait ~6 months to make it effective, no problem. There are signs that the housemates are becoming more exploitative and emboldened and I'm either going to be paid for the trouble or they can leave.
Additional background for interested people.
I need to raise the rent because they are taking alot of my time and requiring frequent "parenting" just to do the basic, like paying their lease specified share of the utilities, taking out the trash bins, cleaning up after themselves, locking the door at night. They are pushing limits, causing me ongoing and increasing frustration with their never ending irresponsible behavior.
I have no interest in being a trainer, parent, disciplinarian, or manifesting the frustrated landlord vibe that they keep pushing for; I've had extensive conversations with them numerous times about this.
A few months ago they "forgot" / neglected to pay the rent on time too, but for 4 days and per the lease agreement that we signed they paid $20 for each day after the 10th of the month. Previously a few times they would come to me in advance and say some kind of financial issue was at play and they might need an extra day or two but not recently; they just didn't pay on time.
This week when I notified them on the 15th, 5 days past the due date I was clear that they owed me $100 in addition to the utilties. This time they paid the utilities and ignored the $100 bit saying "Hi. We've been getting so many emails from you lately the utilities got lost in the shuffle. I just payed it off."
I have not responded to that message from two days ago. I am thinking I will just include the $100 fee in the utilties email for February. If they continue to be late then I think it would be a material breach of the lease at this point; I've given them leeway and notice several times.
If the extra charge didn't discourage them from being late the first time then I don't imagine letting them ignore me the second time is going to move them toward responsibility.
A couple years ago in a moment of weakness I gave them have a exception to the pet policy and let them have a rabbit thinking they would surely be reasonable but they put it on the floor of their room claiming there is some kind of puppy pads and some other material to keep any pee from getting to the floor.
They have been resistant to allowing me to see the room whereas they have not been in the past.
Nearly a year ago I bought a heat pump clothes washer dryer and I already had to have a service person out to get what appears to me as rabbit fur stuck in the heat pump dryer part of the unit.
I have told them that they should clean out the robot vacuum cleaner brush roll of the rabbit fur that it collects from the floor, and I don't think they have done it once. I always have to ask them to vacuum the stairs despite having conversations about sharing this and other tastes; it always comes down to requiring multiple and ongoing requests and I don't want to live like that.
I receive emails from them often saying they are so young and inexperience, don't know what needs to be done, benefit from reminders, etc. So I send them the reminders they want and now they use that against me to say they got too many emails and therefore didn't notice the utilities.
The emails were all about their neglectful aforementioned issues. They've been getting utility emails at the beginning of the month for 2.5 years.
Early last year I changed jobs and was therefore able to stay at this house 7 days a week whereas before that I was staying at a rented space closer to work during work days. When I moved in they came to me with the lease in hand trying to say that even though I had been in the house regularly since before I even knew them that I would need to give them advance notice for being in my own house. It was clear to me from the beginning and from the lease that they were renting just the room but somehow they got the idea that I needed to give advance notice to enter any portion of the property. We had a long talk and I got them to sign a document explaining that I am a resident and a landlord and advance notice is not needed for my presence.
THey are resistant to such discussions, taking weeks sometimes to get them to sit down and talk, adding to the frustration.

2025.01.18 06:39 jollybumpkin Aarrgghhh!! I am so mad. It happened again. My phone won't pair with my a new sensor.
I just finished with a sensor, which was paired with the reader. The phone is a Google Pixel 8a, with Android version 15. I previously had a perfectly good phone that wouldn't work with the Libre 3, so I bought this new phone, which was money I didn't want to spend, because I wanted to use the app on my phone. It has worked before. I paired my phone with four or five sensors in a row. Then the app stopped working. The Freestyle people said they were updating the app. Eventually, the updated app installed itself on my phone, but it won't pair with a sensor. This is the second time in a row it has happened. So I have to pair the sensor with the reader instead. I know the sensor is okay, because the reader paired with it right away. I followed all the directions. I made sure NFC was enabled on my phone. I know NFC works on my phone, because I use it for other things. It just won't fucking work and the people who answer the technical support telephone are fucking worthless, even though they try very hard to be nice and helpful. The reader is an extra lump in my pocket, it has to be charged every-single-day and I am constantly hunting for it. This is PISSING ME OFF! I can't get any answers from the Freestyle people. I might be stuck with the reader indefinitely.
Suggestions, please? Is it possible to get level 2 support when I call the Freestyle technical support line?
