Check out Google's n-gram viewer of all English usage, British English usage, and American English usage, and you get mostly, "Worse comes to Worst" in American, "Worst comes to Worst" in British: goo.gl/N5cfEK You'd have to use different tenses (...were to come to worst), constructions (with/without article) to really nail it down, but those ... "for worse" means something happened and the outcome is bad. "We re-elected our president, for worse." Putting them together, it means the result can go either way. "The new legislation has passed, for better or worse." Meaning, it was probably a controversial law, we don't know what the outcome will be, but it has happened. I think saying "worse than mediocre" as is, is pretty good. The condition of the roads in that area were worse than mediocre. Some have said they were pitiful while others have argued they were pathetic. Either way, it is safe to say the roads were not very good. anyone have any recommendations for dramas that give you the butterflies? It can be sweet/wholesome drama but i mean intense butterflies.
what i mean by this is like the drama Nevertheless. even tho the ML was so toxic the butterflies were insane. the physical touch and how he was always like touching her and whispering to her was so fluttery. also their intimate moments were so peak.
i have watched many dramas but nothing that gives as intense butterflies as Nevertheless

My boyfriend, a new engineer, and I are debating something: his boss had 20 people under him. Then suddenly, upper management took several employees out from under his boss thereby reducing the team to 10. The removed employees are now under my boyfriend's boss' boss (moved to the next layer of management). I think they were moved because his boss was screwing up. My boyfriend says no. Who's right? Why would upper management do this?

we’re both 18F freshmen in college and we live in a tiny dorm, our beds are less than 5 ft apart. I let her boyfriend shower in our bathroom and spend weekends here, but I don’t have anywhere else to sleep and I don’t want to be in my pajamas in front of a man 😭 right now it’s 12am and they’re both asleep in her bed idk what to say.
