2025.01.18 10:10 Trouble-Motor I don't care about myself at all and I don't know what to do about it
I don't care about myself at all, im so unmotivated I just want to only do what I need to survive. I only brush my teeth every 1-2 days, I go more than a week without showering, I literally looked at myself in the mirror and saw my hair completely matted because I forgot brushing hair existed for 2 weeks.
Before I reverted to islam I would go over a month without showering, I'd only brush my teeth once a month, Id wear the same outfit for weeks in a row, and way more that I won't even get into. I started doing everything more often for the sake of Allah and it's been fine alhamdulillah but its still so hard sometimes. I know about the hadiths like "purity is half of the faith" and how Allah loves those who are pure and everything but it makes no difference to me..😔
since becoming muslim I haven't really been as depressed, and I haven't been suicidal at all, alhamdulillah but im still so unmotivated about absolutely everything as if I was still in that deep depression I used to be in before I found islam. Idk what to do😭does anyone relate or have any advice they can give me? Jazakallah khair

2025.01.18 10:10 Street_Bag766 When you live in an apartment building and your puppy is barking at 2am
My husband gets home from work at 2am and takes our 5-month puppy on a short potty walk first thing, then has dinner with the puppy crated with a Kong (our puppy has recently started barking when we eat). He doesn’t settle in the crate even after he’s done with dinner and so my husband will try to get him to settle on the couch while he watches tv or let him play with toys in the living room.
My husband doesn’t know why the puppy will bark at him but between 2am and 4am, my husband will put food in a toy or give him another Kong in an effort to immediately quiet the barking. We live in a building with thin walls so it’s pretty disruptive.
The issue with the barking is that my husband is feeding our puppy three Kongs or piles of kibble throughout the night to get him to stop. It’s a lot of food. We need to make an immediate change, but the puppy also needs to be quiet during those late night hours.

Hi, I have FR255S and since last update it doesn't automatically end sleep. I've checked the sleep mode settings and I get up after them, I've restarted the watch and run out of ideas. Any one else have this problem? I'm worried it messes up my recovery time, because in morning report my watch states because of my poor sleep my recovery was delayed (sleep score 80).

Apart from these few more queries that I have are:
- Is there any SIM card which can be used in all the three states?
- For traveling between the cities I can use the trains but for local travel are there any apps or card that I can get like 3-5 day passes?

A couple of years ago I was in a tight spot with the mortgage. Boomer dad said "Tell you what, İ'm the executor of the family trust, and it can legally invest in real estate. The trust will buy out your mortgage (plus 20k for repairs) in exchange for a 25% stake in the house." Went down to the county court house and filed a "quit claim" against 25% of the deed. Deposited the trust check and wired the value (minus 20k to fix the foundation of the house) to the mortgage bank. Sold the house last year and after all the closing fees and commissions were paid, the trust took 25% of the net. Trust only lost about 3k, İ didn't pay for a mortgage for two years, and İ will be the executor that trust eventually anyway. What İ liked about this is İ wasn't asking for a hand-out or even a loan. İ sold part of an asset to a legal entity to get wiggle-room. Any disputes would be just a normal day in court. And disputes are unlikely. Your average mortgage bank has the flexibility of a sledge hammer. Do your due diligence and work with an actual estate lawyer. But managing any intergenerational wealth isn't something you have to guess at, and it could offer some clever ways to help support the grandkids as they try and get off the ground in a managed way that gives everyone skin in the game while grand-boomers are still part of their life.

Hello everyone! I'm a 20F, student looking for flexible jobs. I have a very basic level of Czech atp, but I learn it in university so it's improving pretty fast. Plus I know two additional language besides English fluently.
Apparently, there was a similar question not long ago, but I'm mostly looking for jobs that'll allow me to work some days full, some days just half.
I was thinking about trying to be a barista(I'm open to work full-time Saturday and Sunday) or working at a hotel/hostel, but I don't find that much options on online portals.
My biggest question is if it's possible just to walk in during the not so busy hours and ask for vacancies? Or better to contact them via email/social media?
