2025.01.18 09:59 kdizzle1987 Steam 1 Hour time played ranges
I recently launched my demo on Steam and looking at the Lifetime Play stats so far, I was wondering about the "(Below/Above) average as compared to other Steam demos" text next to the '1 hour 0 minutes' section of the minium time played. After digging around online all I can find is that for pretty much everyone, clicking this just shows an empty list of games.
I understand this has no real meaning when it comes to predicting anything (I've read HTMAG's Median Playtime benchmark blog post, it's what led me to look into this page in the first place) I was just wondering out of pure curiosity if anyone knew at what % this goes from 'Average' to 'Above Average'? After fixing a bug that broke the game after a few mins (oops), this went from 'Below Average' to 'Average' when it crossed the 1.% mark so I now know about that threshold (although I assume this changes as more demos are launched), I'm just curious if anyone has had a similar case of crossing the upper threshold and knows what percentage that happens at?

33F here. I have experienced bloating most of the time as I don't usually consume vegetables. However I do poop regularly. Recently my bowel habits changes where I poop once every three or four days. I also find that my stomach feels quite cold to touch after eating, and I have been getting stomachaches at night, like once or twice per week.
Today I just went to poop and it was difficult at the start but quite smooth after. Blood on the toilet paper and blood on the poop. The blood is bright red, poop is brown to light brown...
Should I see a specialist?

2025.01.18 09:59 parker_dude29 AIO for making my girl best friend "depressed", just because I rejected a relationship?
Kind of a long story. So I work with this girl, and we've been in a decent platonic friendship, leading from probably about September last year. Now I don't have any feelings for her, because I got out of a horrible relationship not too long ago, and I decided it'd be best to take a break for a while.
She's been a good sport through all this, she's been supporting me, inviting me to hangouts, and pretty much simply being entirely on my side. I've told her I appreciate it deeply, which she had also stated she understood, and felt glad that she was able to lift my spirits.
A couple days ago, she messages me, claiming she had something to confess, which was her feelings for me, and how she wanted to date me. I replied back that I am just not ready to start a love life again. I kindly told her, if she would still like to, we can still be friends. Unfortunately, she didn't quite handle it too nicely. Afterwards, she's been avoiding me, and hasn't text back since then. Did I treat her like a dick? Or is she just not handling this well? Not positively sure if anything else will happen, or she'll possibly get back to me.

So, I recently got to know that I have chicken pox and we have 1 year old baby in our family.
For that baby I told my family to either make me stay isolated or take the baby to her grandparents house for few days.
And it's not only me the doctors are advicing it too. But today everyone started shouting at me for being too dramatic and over reactive. For being selfish and egoistic. My mom told me that you are not the only one who cares about the baby stop over reacting. Because of you now we have to make her go away. They called me selfish and now my mom is avoiding talking with me or mumbling things like egoistic, that attitude of yours will ruin everything one day, etc etc. (typical asian parents things)
I was sad and hurt and I would totally apologise, also try to fix it if I did something wrong. Did I do something wrong? (It was kinda an AITA post too)

I really need to get this of my chest as I have no one to talk to that truly understands the destructive dynamics. Skip to bottom to skip the whining.
I sort of already knew this woman before all of this happened. We went to the same school as teens and sparks were flying. But nothing ever happened really.
We randomly bumped into eachother again, like 10 years later, and sparks were flying again like nothing had changed.
We started hanging out and she told me she does not want anything serious, and showed some hot and cold behaviour. I agreed and did not think much about this at all. And I guess me agreeing and actually not contacting her and not caring much made her feel safe or something. Later she started to become clingy in a weird way. Telling me she won't come over but came over unannounced anyway late at night etc.
Fast forward and she was randomly crying her eyes out one night, because i still had dating apps on my phone and did not respond to her texts in a timely manner and all that. It was clear she was in love with me.
We had a long talk, and I guess I agreed to be exclusive with her and boy do I regret this now.
We dated for a few years and we literally NEVER fought. Same humour and interests. Everything was so good and I fell deeply in l with this woman. (red flag I know)
Well, we decided to have kids and I had never in my life been so sure and felt so happy to be this lucky. I really loved this woman and would die for her. And I really thought she felt the same.
Everything went great and our beautiful baby was born. This is where it starts...
Out of the blue, she became hot and cold. again. Began ghosting, silent treatment, gaslighting and asking weird questions like asking me how we would handle infidelity and started to speak highly of her single friends having new partners every weekend with sparkles in her eyes. All while me trying to be an attentive father for our crying 3 month old baby. All this while playing dumb and making me question my sanity. ("I did not answer your text for 5 hours because I missed it/was busy/are not required by law to answer etc.) I was told to control my feelings.
Nothing got resolved and now she was never wrong, couldn't apologize, and LEFT the room whenever trying to talk things out. She would later join me again, acting like NOTHING happened and get angry for me bringing it up "again". We even tried couples therapy to no avail. Same result because she would visually panic, detach and then become this emotionless monster as soon as she was faced with the slightest critisism. After each session, she would try to hug me and ask how I felt. Like a psychopath. Like, what the hell?
Everytime I had enough, she did a 180 and became loving, but would instantly become this monster again if I gave her any validation
I was 100% sure she was a narcissist, but then she told me she wasnt good enough for me, and could never give me what I deserve when we broke up. And she was visually scared when i tried to give her anything of value. She wanted to be super independent. She agreed to break up because of those reasons. And the classic "I never wanted to break up with you"
Last time I actually took the bait, I ended up at her place after a night out. Nothing happened that night. I confronted her, and she claimed "a series of unlucky events made me end up with her"
Cutting her out of my life is not entirely possible as we share custody of a child.
What the hell do I do? I have tried being firm on no contact, but the nature of having a kid together always brings us together here and there. And I always melt a little when it happens. I can tell she does too, but wont admit it.
I hate this.

This is a bit of a rant really but it's just so exhausting 😭
My mother in law's been staying this week and it's just added to everything I need to think about and I just feel so worn down. Trying to understand when she was coming and going was really difficult and I had to nag my partner to get basic information, and even then I didn't know what the arrangements were on the last day until the afternoon. I had a hospital appointment to follow up on the birth and needed to know if I could use the car and whether I'd need to take the baby or not.
My baby is 12 weeks old and I exclusively pump due to difficulties nursing.
This week I've been battling to stay on top of the pumping (including sitting in the dark trying not to wake partner and baby due to no privacy anywhere else) as well as trying to plan and make meals for my partner and MIL and something separate for myself (I'm vegetarian), keep on top of the mountain of washing that gets produced and try and sort out new clothes for the baby who's just had a big growth spurt.
This was all ok until this morning my partner said proudly he'd given me a break last week by taking the baby out for a walk with my mil. I reminded him I'd spent the whole time cleaning up and his response was "well you chose to do housework".
So now I'm sitting in our room crying and eating biscuits 😂 It's just so thoughtless! Yes some stuff can wait but at a bare minimum the baby needs clean clothes/bibs/muslins cloths/nappies and the adults need to eat (and ideally from clean dishes). So I don't feel it's that much of a choice 😂
Overall he is a very good partner and he's a great dad but I'm just so frustrated at the invisibility of the mental load that mums carry! Comparatively I don't have it that bad at all but the hormone are raging this morning...

I posted on here that hydrogen peroxide cured me but that wasn’t the case. Lo and behold the bb came back with vengeance once I stopped the hydrogen peroxide mouth wahsing. anyway fast forward to now and I think I’m cured. I just went to the dentist and had 3 cavities filled!!! Yes 3 cavities that had been collecting bacteria and stinking out my mouth for over 10 years. I have given it time and it seems all good. Finally feel more confident and can have a chat with my neighbour without holding my hand over my mouth…

I’m a resident in Saudi Arabia, and I’ve applied for a GCC Resident Visa TWICE—once through the Dubai Smart Services website and then through ICP Smart Services. Both times, I got similar remarks after submitting my application. Here’s what I received:
From Dubai Smart Services: ارفاق اقامة الكفيل + ارفاق تاشيرة الكفيل لدخول الامارات بعد الاصدار
From ICP Smart Services: يرجى إرفاق إذن دخول الكفيل الصادر من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بعد الموافقه عليه
What the actual hell does this mean?? I’ve been trying to figure it out for DAYS. My sponsor is my university (a government organization) in Saudi Arabia, so how the hell would it have an iqama? And what is this “إذن دخول الكفيل” even supposed to be? I’ve searched everywhere, and there’s no clarification ANYWHERE.
I even tried uploading an Exit and Re-entry Visa thinking maybe that’s what they wanted, but my application got rejected immediately with ZERO explanation.
I’m supposed to travel to the UAE for an academic conference on January 21st, and this whole process is just wasting my time and money. I’m beyond frustrated and don’t know what else to do.
Has anyone dealt with this before? What are they asking for? How do I fix this?
Any help would be seriously appreciated.
