Hi,
I have failed ComptTIA CySA+ multiple times. Any recommendations on how to pass? I really think I need a tutor to help me with this can anyone recommend a tutor. I’m based in Sydney, Australia but happy to do online tutoring.
Please help me with this as I have failed multiple times and I’m really stressing.
I have referred to labs, videos and study notes in the past to prep but obviously was not enough, really need face to face or online tutoring to point me in the right direction.

Spill the tea, folks ☕️ I've been wrestling with our software architect who wants to change the generated customer id that all of our systems depend on, to a human-readable string. Why? So in rare cases when someone makes a spreadsheet with customer data, they don't have to look into the (specially created and maintained) page to check if that is indeed the customer id. Hundreds of hours of work for that... 🤦
I want to hear about yours most ridiculous, nonsensical, or bizarre feature requests you’ve encountered in your career. Was it “Let’s build a clone of X in two weeks” or “Can we use AI to generate all the code so we don't need to hire more engineers”? 🤖
Did you manage to push back gracefully (or was it a dumpster fire)? Or did it actually get built, and how did that turn out?

2025.01.18 10:09 VashtaNerrada After watching my friend's children for a few hours I think I have a good short-term bandaid fix regarding children's technology use which would prevent further damage to their attention spans until we come up with a better solution.
Think of when you were a kid and wanted to engage in entertainment.
You had to grab a VHS/DVD (or first go outside to blockbuster if you didn't have one on hand)
Then you had to put it in
Then you had to sit down and watch it, usually in its entirety. Only distractions being maybe you would draw at the same time.
Now think of an Ipad kid today
Here's what it sounds like sitting near one of them
'HEY WHAT'S UP GUYS TODAY WE'RE GOING TO BE-' swipe
'THE ALL NEW FLYING LEGO SPITZER IS' swipe
'DID YOU KNOW THAT SCIENTISTS HAVE DISCOVERED A NEW PLANET ORBITING THE EARTH, RESEARCHE-' swipe
'THE NEW MR BEAST ICE CRE-' swipe
'HEY WHAT'S UP' swipe
'WATCH THIS TO SEE WHAT THIS CAT DOES' 7 seconds of the video - swipe
'OMG GUYS THIS IS CRAZY, THE-' swipe
'TODAY WE'RE GOING TO BE TRYING OUT' swipe
All of that occurs in the time in less than a minute. In the time you were probably putting the VHS/DVD into the player. This overstimulation will have dire consequences and one day will be regulated like how we have restrictions on who can drive.
My solution?
It's really simple
Make it so on child accounts every time they swipe theres a 15 second cool down on a black screen.
They must then wait with 0 stimulus until the next video loads. Slowly over time kids will swipe less and their bar for what passes as 'interesting' will lower, knowing the alternative is sitting in silence for 15 seconds. Make it like spotify when you don't have premium where you get like 5 skips an hour then you're stuck listening for the entire song.
Think of how this overstimulation has damaged you, then imagine what it would've down to your constantly shaping brain as a kid. Until we can come up with other solutions I reckon my fix would only have benefits.
