Dictionary says that the meaning of the word பால் is 'milk' but it also refers to the grammatical categorisation called ஆண்பால், பெண்பால், etc. It seems entirely different. So, what could be the possibile explanation for the word பால்?
For this let us see other examples, like,
பகுதி (Part) --> பாதி (half). மிகுதி (excess) --> மீதி (remainder). தொகுப்பு (collection)--> தோப்பு (collection of trees). அகல் (to extend) ---> ஆல் (banyan tree).
So, by this pattern, பால்(milk) should be பகல் (day).
Then, what is the connection between பகல் and பால் in their meanings?!
பகல் is division or one part of the whole day (other part of the day is called இரவு). So, பகல் gives out the meaning "division", "part", etc.
Also, பகல் is the opposite of "இரவு (night)" which is "Dark". "Dark" means "absence of light". So,, பகல் meaning "light", "bright" ,etc. And, thus, it also gives out the meaning "white".
So, the word பகல் means "division", "white", "bright", etc. And, this பகல் gets contracted into பால் like "அகல்--> ஆல்", etc.
So, the word பால் also means "Division", "Part", etc apart from the meaning "milk". (Ex: ஆண்பால் means Masculine category or division).

2025.01.18 10:20 Soft_Moment4464 Changing cd laser on Denon DM41
My Denon DM41 is so picky with what CDs it plays. More often than not it says unsupported, or plays a bit and then says unsupported. From what I’ve read online I believe this is due to a cheap generic cd drive been used in the DM41. I’m wondering if it’s possible to take the cd drive laser out of another product and swap it with the one in the DM41. I’ve got a couple of quite old desktop computer cd drives and an old stand alone DVD player drive that I can disassemble. Would this work? I’m wondering if anyone has tried something like this before

2025.01.18 10:20 TheKoppany69 My letters are distorted, after installing a hd hud mod for NFS MW 2005
 | Hi! so i installed this mod wich what it does is basically upscale the pixelated/blurry hud of the game, and when i load the game, the text looks distorted and the cursor is waay too big, i think it's because my monitor is 1080p (1920x1080) and the mod maybe meant for higher res monitors, but then if this is the case why it's not in the mod's description, or in the readme file, 2nd problem: also a popup comes up first, and says this speed.exe is incompatible, and to use the 1.3 patch from "RELOADED" and i don't know what reloaded is, or who, maybe a modder, but if i download any 1.3 patch it says this, and i downloaded the game for free, (bc, ea doesn't sell it anyway, it's not gonna hurt them) and it detects that cd or dvd is not present, so i basically reinstall the no dvd patch speed.exe, the game starts but i have to click ok 3 times, and it's annoying. I (17F) had this friend(17F) who I had only known for 2 months at that time. we are not friends
now, but recently, I learned that they are talking behind my back about what happened 2 years ago. I was 15 at that time. That friend told me and my other friend she had a crush on this guy from the next grade. After a week, she showed us that she had found his Facebook ID. She asked both my friend and me if she should text him, although me and my friend didn't like the idea because she was Hindu and both we and the guy were Muslim. It is not common here to date people from different genders. We supported her to go ahead and see what happens. She said she was scared about what to text him. We didn't give her any ideas, but we don't have any experience with guys. After a few minutes, she texted him without telling us anything. When we asked about that, she told us she had texted him, I love you. We were laughing, seeing how bold she was, the guy texted back after a few moments and asked who is she, to which she replied it was a gift from a friend when he asked who that friend was, she instantly gave him my ID without my consent. The next day, she told us what she did, I was annoyed but didn't express it. I was like whatever, it isn't harming anyone. That day, the guy texted me and asked if that was true. I didn't reply but called that friend and asked her what she wanted me to do in that situation; she said u can do whatever you want. o I said the dare thing wasn't true at all, and she had a crush on him and didn't know how to text him. He was cool about that, and soon I learned he rejected her but told her that they could become friends, to which she agreed. After that day, he started texting me every day. I was dry texting him at first, but my friend said this was rude and was ruining her chances. So I did what she said. Soon, I learned everything about that guy but didn't disclose any information of mine. Before Valentine's Day, my friend wanted to get chocolates from that guy, so I asked him if he could drop by and give her one . he agreed, and we selected a spot. When he came, he charged right up to me and proceeded to hand me down the gift. I backed off and told him to give to her, not me. He was hesitant at first but reluctantly agreed and without making eye contact with her. She was sure he was in love with her after that day. When we said something about this, he would snap out. Eventually, she realized he was a playboy and gave up. I stopped becoming friends with her for another reason soon after Now I am listening to rumors that I try to take everyone's crush or boyfriend. I don't know what I did wrong. Can someone please point out my actions because no one is explaining anything?

I love Nirvana's Live Tonight Soldout, a feature length montage of interviews, live snippets, random backstage stuff. Fans made equal followups for the Bleach and In Utero eras, together they're an awesome 4hr plus vibe documentary.
Does anything like this exist for Lynch? I would love to see a well edited thing blending bits of his interviews, audios, talks, masterclasses with clips of him, his films, back stage stuff. There's so much material available.
