Step 1: Ruthless prioritization Most people start with a giant list of features they think users want. Big mistake. I break it down into 3 categories: 1️⃣ Core user actions: What are the 1-2 things users must do immediately? 2️⃣ Features that create measurable value. 3️⃣ Everything else = backlog.
This forces you to focus on the essentials and avoid feature creep, which is a silent killer of budgets and timelines.
Step 2: Build modular & reusable components Stop trying to reinvent the wheel for everything. I always design apps using modular architecture, meaning:
Reusable components for the UI (e.g., SwiftUI makes this a breeze). Backends that scale easily (Firebase or Supabase work great for most use cases). This approach has consistently cut development time in half, and it makes future updates much easier to implement.
Step 3: Feedback-driven development Here’s a reality check: No one gets it 100% right the first time. Instead of guessing what users want, I focus on: 1️⃣ Launching a working MVP as soon as possible. 2️⃣ Measuring how users actually interact with it. 3️⃣ Iterating based on real-world feedback.
This prevents wasting time and money on features no one cares about.
Step 4: Automate everything possible Automation isn’t just about saving time—it ensures consistency and quality. Here’s what I usually automate:
Testing pipelines with CI/CD (fast and reliable builds). Crash reporting & monitoring (Sentry, for example, is a lifesaver). User analytics to spot trends and improve the experience. By automating these tasks, you can focus on what really matters: delivering value to users.

So, I've just started my adventure to collect 'em all for the first time since around 2017; oh, I've played since then... a lot (I've spent most of my time in either Soul Silver or Emerald.), but I haven't played a new, to me at least, game in a long time as I didn't enjoy the original Moon at all--which means I haven't seen a ton of pokemon in generations seven through nine.
I'm looking for a somewhat "definitive" hack for each paitriplet, and I do realize that such is entirely subjective, but I am overwhelmed by the number of hacks available, and a lot of them genuinely look really good. I've basically just dipped a toe into the hack scene so every hack is on the table. I don't care much about whether the story is the same, updated, or entirely new. I've played the first several generations many times so a repeated story is a non-issue; I just want a new experience without much concern if that comes from the story, mechanics, or the available pokemon, or some combination of those things.
I have already picked a few, but I'm open to replacing them with something else for now.
Pokemon Green (PureRGG) -- A Blue Hack
Pokemon Prism -- A Crystal Hack
Pokemon Inclement Emerald -- An Emerald Hack
Pokemon FireRed Extended -- A FireRed Hack
Pokemon Platinum Moemon -- A Platinum Hack
I've actually already started Green, and the quality of life improvements have been fantastic so I'd love similar improvements in any suggestions.
I know Moemon is kind of weird in some ways; I know a lot of people love it while a lot of people hate it, and I understand both sides of the discussion, but I thought it was cute enough to give it a try. I am, however, especially open to replacing the hack for that triplet. That said, while I'm here, I'd also like to ask for which Moemon hack is the "definitive" experience as in the most complete package.
I know this was kind of a long post so I really appreciate your time.

Hello, I’ve used different methods of promotion for my music. I’ve used Groover, TikTok Business Ads, (Instagram) Meta Ads and SoundCampaign.
At first the results weren’t so visible like as if it didn’t make much of a difference but it seems to gradually have changed over time even through there are no ads running currently except SoundCampaign (which I’m not a big fan of but perhaps it’s working better than I thought after all).
I know my stats are still not meeting my goals yet but somehow some of my songs are getting pushed in the Spotify algorithm so going from 2-3% Spotify Algorithmic Playlists to up to 21% - is that a good sign?
Could this be from the promotions that I’ve been running for almost three months? Do they sometimes take time to take effect on ones stats?
