2025.01.18 10:00 Ledgend_2 Any suggestions for my Ashnod the Uncaring Bauble/Trinket List?
I’m looking for deck advice and suggestions for my new Ashnod deck. I’m new to artifact decks so if you’re a seasoned artifact player I’d appreciate the advice!
I’m wanting an artifact recursion, grindy value deck that plays around with trinkets and baubles to create artifact based synergies. I’m fine with the deck being a bit slow in the early game, but would like ways to prevent early game damage or gain me some life back so I don’t just die on turn 7. I’m not opposed to Combos, I have Ashnods Altar combos in the deck already. I’d prefer to not have Time Sieve or sword of the meek combos as I am building a Sharuum deck for that.
I really like Salvaging Station so have included a package of Baubles it can abuse, as well as a few ways to tutor for specific ones I need.
I have goldfished the deck a bunch and it seems like it just spins it’s wheels and doesn’t actively contribute to disrupting opponents or interacting with the board unless certain cards are found like executioners capsule & the Spellbombs. I have included a few token creature generators to provide me with blockers and stuff to sac, as well as a few stompy creatures to provide a board presence… I’m not sure whether this is needed?

Lost a god run to my own idiocy, was making a venomous curse stacker wand when i randomly thought of what would happen if i replaced venomous curse with water trail, the result was the game spawning so much water in one frame it instantly froze, then crashed my game. Upon trying to load my save, i was only greeted by a black screen and the sound of a shitton of water.
In short, don’t cast hundreds of water trail if you like your save file

I did post this on Ghoststories but I figured I'd share it here too; with one extra story I forgot to mention in the other one
My mom’s story:
When my mom was in college, she would stay at a dormitory. That year, she stayed there during the holidays with one of her best friends. The dormitory at the point would be mostly empty because people would be at home or visiting their families in their hometowns. The dormitory room she was in was directly facing an abandoned building. One night, when she was studying at her desk, she heard someone crying. She thought it was her friend (who was at the top of the bunk bed) that was crying. My mom told her friend to stop joking around. She went up to the bunk bed to look but her friend was asleep. My mom immediately woke her up to ask if she hears the crying too. They both did. At one point it got louder and louder. They were both so scared that they just shared the top bunk bed that night. A few days after that, my mom asked about the abandoned building while buying from a food vendor that sells in front of the dormitory. The food vendor mentioned that the building was caught in a fire a years prior.
My mom’s second experience (short):
My mom said that when she was a kid in her old rural home, she saw a little kid standing on a rock outside her window. The little kid is dressed in a hat, long sleeves, pants and shoes. All silver. Like his entire body and clothes were made of silver. She mentioned that it stood on the rock for a very long time doing nothing. It didn’t even look in her direction. She said throughout the night she would check from time to time, and it would still be there not moving. At the final time she checked, it was gone.
My aunt's experience (extra, short):
Back in rural Asia, in the 90's, she stayed with friends at a family members house in the province for vacation. She said that the streets at that time, where they stayed at, were still just dirt roads. On the night they were scheduled to drive back home, it was raining hard. She suggested to cancel the trip and just leave the next day, but some of her friends insisted and she agreed. On that night, they drove through the dirt roads, with nothing to see but trees for miles. They didn't really get far when she said that they passed by a person standing beside the road in the heavy rain. Being a superstitious bunch, they all agreed that it like was a bad omen, wondering who could be out here in the middle of the forest in the heavy rain, they described it as death. Like a warning ahead. They cancelled the trip that night and turned back, the person in the rain was gone.
My experience:
My mom, my sister, my grandma and I were visiting a family member in a different city in Asia. That branch of the family had a politician who was assassinated when he was at a gas station filling up his car. Well that first night we were at the house, my little sister (who was around 5) had her worst nightmare. She was screaming in her sleep, saying “leave me alone, leave me alone” over and over. I was in shock at the point, as she’s never done that before. It woke up the entire household, my aunts mentioned to my mom at that point about the assassination of that family member. (My mom didn’t know because it was on my dad’s gradma’s side of the family). My aunts just said it was probably just (the name of diseased family member) saying hello to my little sister 👋 They said that he was a kind man. The room we used while staying there was previously his

2025.01.18 10:00 Useful-Cover7073 S23 or s23+ or s24?? Which one is better for filming?
I can't decide I've been going back and forth trying to pick out a new phone that will produce good videos but there so many options that I'm lost. I study film production, and I really want to start YouTube. I figured now I need a new phone I should pick one that has a decent camera and can produce nice videos. I've looked at all the reviews and video tests and I know that there's not much point getting an s23 or s23+ when the ultra has a CRAZY camera and sensor however I HATE the look of the ultra it's so big and sharp and I prefer the rounded corners and size of the s23. But then comes the question is the s23+ better then the s23 and if I wanted the s23 would it be good enough? And then comes in the s24 and if I should consider it as well?
How I see it the s23 has a good camera with good video functions. The s23+ is the same but with a longer battery life. And the s24 has a better battery then the s23 but not the s23+? And in the back of my mind I think it's silly to miss out on the camera functions of the s23 ultra because I don't like the size or shape... What do I do? I'm going around in circles and I need other peoples opinions.
