My top 3 favorite candy bars are Payday, almond joy and heath. While I don't have a sweet tooth for desserts in general these 3 candy bars are my weakness. When ever I have them in the house I binge on them. I spoke to a friend about this and he suggested I freeze them in an effort to slow me down from eating them. Honestly it sounded like an odd strategy to me. But I tried doing it anyway. To my point, after trying these candy bars are many others straight from the freezer. I have found that the taste, texture and experience is so much better than eating room temperature candy bars.

I want to buy some pair of darn tough socks. But i'm quite confused about there internet site.
Basically i dont wan't socks for hiking or running - just lifestyle. Thats it. I can wear lifestyle on my job (office) and everday life. Some long pair (which DONT get over the calf!) for winter and some short pair for summer while wearing sneaker. Pretty basic ones, like... black. Thats it. Shouldn't be that hard as my request is pretty basic (black long one for winter, black sneaker one for summer).
So i filtered on there website for "men" and "lifestyle" and got this site.
Only long socks? Just one which is not long but it is only a no show. I was hoping for socks for summer time which goes slightly aroung the ankle. The only socks on there site which "basic, good for summer around the ankles but not 'no shows'" are these work socks.

Hello, I've been using Betacraft to play BetterBeta and haven't had any issue. I recently wanted to start another game with Better Than Adventure so I made another instance with BTA on Betacraft and everything seemed to be without issue until I realised there is no sound!
I have tried googling the issue but nothing I can find solves the problem, here some of the things I tried:
- Tried changing the JMV but no luck!
- Updating Java! was not the issue, but I'm also not sure what Java I'm using, I though Betacraft handled that by itself. The file in Betacraft shows I have "java-8u51"
- Here! someone had an issue but they did the download by themselves and the fix shows that I have modify files that I dont have like ".minecraft\resources\records" whereas I only have ".BTA\resources\newsound", no "new sound" or "music"...
If anyone is able to help me I greatly appreaciate.

2025.01.18 10:20 LiberDeCobalt Should Sanity Loss For Passing Knowledge Checks Accompanied By A Cthulhu Mythos Increase?
Suppose a character stumbles upon some horrifying biological impossibility/abomination, that prompts extra Sanity Loss if they pass, say, a Medicine or Biology check (I've seen precedent for this in one of Chaosium's works). Should that Sanity Loss be accompanied by an increase in the Cthulhu Mythos skill?
The rationale would be twofold:
1: "Realism": The character now knows more about Mythos biology, and can perhaps extrapolate the knowledge. If they figure out how this creature works to sustain its apparent contradictions, perhaps they can try to understand other things. 2: Gameplay: It seems harsh to penalise characters for passing skill checks (although being harsh is usually the purpose of Call of Cthulhu, so this reason takes a backfoot).
(Given the weight of a Cthulhu Mythos increase, I might have the skill increase by fractions for small discoveries like this.)
Thoughts on a Cthulhu Mythos increase to accompany the Sanity Loss?

(waiting for 50-series gpu tho) I'm very happy and excited about it, decided I would do a bit of research beforehand to make sure everything is plugged in correctly into the motherboard. My main question is about the aio connectors and the D30 radiator fans. The radiator is gonna have a push/pull configuration with the basic P12s on the back and the D30s on the front. I want to use the 3 different connection provided with the Arctic Liquid freezer 3 and not the "All-in-One" cable. Currently, the connection are as follows (since maybe it's not readable from the image): AIO (D30) Fans Header -> CPU_opt AIO (P12) Radiator Fan Cable -> CPU_fan AIO Pump Cable -> FAN6_PUMP AIO VRM Cable -> FAN5_PUMP The 2 sets of case fans (D30) are simply connected to SYS_FAN1 and SYS_FAN2. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X870E-AORUS-PRO-rev-10/support#support-manual Here is a link to the motherboard manual, on page 4 you can see the motherboard layout. Basically what I want to do with the current connection is having the PUMP operating at the same speed, instead the Push/Pull config and the VRM speeding up or down depending on CPU temps. Since it's my first time I'm not sure whether this is possible with the current connection setup or if its even reccomended to just have the VRM operating at the same speed as the PUMP.
