Hello friends,
I need to get from Cebu Provincial Capitol to the airport tomorrow morning to catch a flight. I need to leave at around 5AM.
Do you think it's risky to rely on Grab (or GrabTaxi)? Due to Sinulog grabbing has been a hit or miss for me the past two days, but I don't know how many drivers will be out there in the early morning and how bad traffic will be.

2025.01.18 10:59 BiggusBertus This is really slow and inconsistent for a Sata SSD right?
So, I bought this Crucial BX500 2tb this year and I noticed that it's not able to keep up with a download speed above 30-ish mb/s on steam. Downloads take really long because it needs to pause, write the data to the ssd, and then start the download again. Games also always tend to stutter on this drive. I was thinking: Maybe the Sata Cable is broken? CrystalDiskInfo doesn't really reveal anything wrong to me.
For Reference my good old spinning disk is way more consistent and is actually able to keep up with my downloads.
What could the Issue be?

Recently, I purchased Nitro Thomas snowboarding pants and a Nitro Pollux jacket. I have attached links to images from the website of the store where the purchase was made. It’s a major sports store in my country.

However, I couldn’t find these items on the official Nitro website. In fact, as far as I can tell from the Nitro USA site, there are no insulated, waterproof pants or jackets listed, like those sold in my local store.
Did I buy counterfeit products? Or am I just not searching properly? Or are different collections made for different countries?
I have already contacted Nitro’s support team and am awaiting their response.

hey guys, so i'm 30+ (M) and recovering from depression. i was on some prescribed meds and and now i'm having brain rot and can't kept on forgetting things or what i wanted to say after quitting the pills after being on them for years. someone recommended me lion's mane mushroom and have found a vendor. but before i get it, is it safe to consume ? am i supposed to cook it in some special way? will i end up in a ward or something? i never tried anything and am clean so don't want any adventure at all but recovery. can someone please guide me if it's ok to take the lion's mane?

So I've been maining chamber ever since I started playing the game a year ago, albeit on and off. I can fill for smokes as clove when needed but pick him on most maps. I'm not very comfortable with the smoking role even though I perform decent as clove. I just don't like the idea of stopping whatever I'm doing to rotate to wherever smokes are needed. It just feels unnatural. I like playing chamber because holding an off angle and having the ability to escape feels nice to have. I also don't think I'm the best at entrying as a duelist so maybe that role is off the board for me as well. I'm around high gold (2-3) elo and I'd really appreciate it if you guys could suggest some agents that could have a more impactful role for the team. Chamber is a pretty selfish agent and except his trip his team doesn't really benefit that much for him. This is why whenever I'm thrown into a plat lobby where I'm dying a lot, I feel like I'm contributing nothing to the team, and rightfully so. Would love to hear your thoughts!

So I Been with my bf for 5 years mostly long distance been living together for a year now. Right when I moved in maybe like a month in I found an insurance paper with his name and his child name. The kid is almost 5 years old. I put the child name on the search bar in his email and it popped up. Don’t call me crazy but I always had a feeling he had a kid and always went through his stuff but never found this he was hiding it good and never nothing on his phone of course. So just asking why do you think he’s hiding his kid from me ? I mean he knew this whole time but never told me so just trying to understand because I don’t… I mean obviously he cheated on me but why hid that you have a kid ? It happened. So idk if he has conversations or any with the other person it’s so weird I can’t even talk to him about having kids and idk if I even want a kid with him just the whole situation is weird and messed up like sometimes I just want to leave knowing all this but at the same time we have a nice good life beside me knowing that like do I just continue living like I don’t know ???

I was recently offered a Program Analyst position with DOL, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Foreign Labor Certification.
Amazingly, I was offered the job without having to interview, so no opportunity to ask questions of an interviewepanel. I’m looking for any insight from folks who have either worked for DOL (my previous experience was with DOS as an adjudicator), or worked as an 0343.
In a perfect world, I’d love to hear from someone who has worked in this office, particularly.
I left federal service a few years ago to teach at university, and don’t want to make the jump back blind. Or for a gig that makes people miserable. I love teaching, but this kind of pay increase is tempting.
