I'm trying to figure out how to access my modem that is behind my Flint 2. The Adtran 841-t6 modem is in bridge mode.
When I was just using the modem as both modem and router, I connected to it at 192.168.1.1. I connected to it and set it to bridge mode, then connected the Flint 2 router. Now the Flint 2 router appears at 192.168.1.1 and I can't figure out how to get to the modem. Any ideas?

Why are there certain things that can only be done by spells, and other things that can only be done by potions? For example: there is no spell to make someone fall in love, or think they fell in love, but there is a potion that does so. There is a potion that gives you extreme luck, but no spell that does so. Potions that cure ailments, for which there exist no spells.
Why is this though? Why can’t these things be turned into spells, making the potions obsolete? No more messy cauldrons, no more expensive ingredients, no more risks of the potions being brewed incorrectly. Why can certain things only be done with a potion and not a spell?
Sidenote: why can other things only be done by clothing and neither spells nor potions exist for it, like invisibility?

Brand new to MH in general and this game in particular
Got swaxeto grade 4 from quests, next best is grade 2 something. Liking the swaxe gameplay but maybe that's because it's much higher grade
Given I get resources for it from quest line it seems a no brainer to keep levelling, but it does use up other resources along the way.
So: is it particularly bad to build it along the quest line? If it's not costing me key resources then I'll go ahead bcos quick path to big damage for noob

2025.01.18 12:19 Kitchen_Trouble9946 Binge drinking at social occasions. Also how do you 'know your limits'?
Preface: I'm not sure if I'm an alcoholic or not, regardless I want to reduce my intake, specifically at social occasions. I think the frequency at which I drink is fine, just not the amount.
I hardly ever drink casually. I'll be eating dinner and won't have a glass of wine or beer even when I'm offered by family. Around Christmas I had some champagne or mulled wine but only maybe 1 or 2 glasses, and not every day.
I will go many days without drinking and it's not like I have withdrawal or any particularly strong urge to drink.
HOWEVER, at social events, I consistently drink way too much. I find that memory loss is a common occurrence. I often embarrass myself and worsen the relationships of those that I drink with (sometimes by a lot).
I know that this is bad and I want to stop it. I don't want to stop drinking entirely though. I'm very awkward and socially inept most of the time but when I drink people have told me that I am a lot more funny and personable. It's not every time I drink that this happens, but recently I'd say it's 50:50, which is still very high.
I'm not sure if this would be called alcoholism or if it's just me 'not knowing my limits' but when I drink it's like I'm not even considering my limits. I am 21 years old and have been drinking since I was 17 (UK), I should probably have enough experience to know but I don't.
I know with beer that I should stop after 5 but 8 is my hard limit (wether I stick to that is a different thing because I only recently quantified it) but the main problem comes when I have multiple different drinks. I like a wide range of drinks, cocktails, spirits, wines, port, etc, and will often have multiple in a night.
To 'know your limits' do most people count the units they consume or just 'feel' when they should stop?
