I met up with her this week. I decided fuck it so messaged her. She was confused given my last message but agreed. We had a nice time and chatted. She assured me she still loved my son dearly but just met her new boyfriend and he swept her off her feet. She says he reminds her a lot of my son and has the same qualities and just couldn't help but fall for him. It was both a nice thing and hard to hear at the same time. But I hid it. I gave her a good bit of money to spend. She was all "are you serious?" And tried to give me it back. I told her yes, go on holiday with him or something and have a nice time. She kept on hugging me and saying thank you and that she loves me so much. She cried, I cried and we're doing ok.
I've done a lot of things this week I haven't done in ages. I've bought a new PS5, new TV and sound system and also paid an escort. I've booked a holiday - looking at going to Japan. I've also reached out to old friends to check in with them. A lot of them are surprised but happy to hear from me. One has really been struggling so I paid for a holiday for him too. He was so grateful.
I'm going to see a new car soon too. Going for an Audi Q6. No idea what I'll do with it but I figure why not enjoy my time left on this earth.

As the title mentions: I am fairly new to the game. I have been playing for a few weeks now and still need to learn a lot, but have developed a decent enough understanding so far on how to play my specific lane on SR. ARAM has however been the mode I find the most fun, given it is just constant fighting.
The biggest thing I struggle with however is my item builds. I am aware that the "Build suggestions" do a decent job at giving me multiple options that I can pick from depending on the situation, but how can I tell when I should ignore these suggestions and pick a completely different item from the second tab, that shows all available items for my character, for instance? I have been using the website "u.gg" for my builds, but the same question applies here: how do I know that any of these items are actually a good pick against the team I am playing against?
To give an example: I have been playing Caitlyn quite a lot when I get her, and u.gg usually recommends a crit-build for her - Collector -> Beserker Greaves > Infinity edge -> Lord Dominiks/Rapid fire cannon -> Bloodthirster -> other item. I have seen people running very similar setups, even against tanks. When playing against tanks, why wouldn't you preferably buy something like Krakenslayer, BORK and similar items?

My wife is not a gamer. She doesn’t mind the odd chill thing - stardew valley, roller coaster tycoon etc but struggles to even move her character and turn a camera in a game. In an effort to find something for us to play together, and she could share in something I’m passionate about I suggested BG3.
Now it’s something she always talks about/wants to do - even gets in a mood if I say I don’t want to play tonight and just chill with some tv shows or the like. She even dreams about it! We’ve just defeated the boss at Moonrise and about to move to the city. She never liked shadowheart and a was not sad when we had to fight and kill her to save the night song
