Literally nothing stresses me out more than coming into my hotel on a day when we are oversold. Today we are only oversold by two, provided that we fix our out of order rooms, but I have seen it in the past where we are oversold by 7-10 rooms.
We are also oversold by 5 queens right now, which means that 5 people who booked double beds will either need to be walked or moved to a room with only one bed which is not what they booked and that would set me over the edge too even though I am familiar with the hotel industry.
My manager said that we oversell because the more perfect 100% capacity nights that we have, the more money we get, but also the more oversold we are, the more we have to switch people's room types or put them in rooms that we know have maintenance issues and then we get worse reviews. I don't personally think that is an even trade off, but I'm not management so what do I know?
I don't even know how I am going to balance the house today, and of course since it is a Saturday, none of my managers are in house to take responsibility for helping us fix this mess. So, my question is: does your hotel allow you to oversell, and is this a common thing or is my hotel out of the norm?

I've had enough of eBay and FBMP because:
- Sellers often have unrealistic expectations and overprice their games just because they like them a lot
- Sellers not properly checking the contents of their games and send them out with missing items
- Scammers
- Buyers who play the games once or fail to enjoy the game, then file a return with eBay for made up reasons to get their money back. I end up paying for shipping twice
- Buyers stealing components then returning the item
- Scammers
This mainly applies to the UK. I'm not sure if they trade boardgames elsewhere!

 | Despite the HERO meta at the moment, the only significant change in my deck was adding Droll - which honestly helped more than I thought it would. I'd say, for Cydra, HERO is definitely another case of a 50/50 match up. Sometimes, I just couldn't make a comeback. Others, either I was able to play through SPoly, Kluger, and whatever else they had - or they suddenly forgot how to read (or both idk) Swapping the ratios for Herz and Nachster also helped a bunch as well, especially if I needed to use Core's GY effect. Hope the next F&L List update or a potential Skill tweak does something to deal with HERO. I hate this. I was forced out of the comfort of sweet, sweet nonexistence without my consent just because my parents decided so. And now I’m forced to be here. Trapped inside this decaying meat suit that does nothing but bring me pain and torment. I’m forced to deal with every headache, every insult, every period cramp, every loss, every tear, every prejudiced person, every action, every thought, I’m forced to deal with it. I can’t live any day without a headache, it feels like my body is actively trying to kill me. “Take some pain meds” they’ll say, but the pain meds don’t make it go away. Nothing will. I only find peace when I’m asleep, and even then, nightmares torment me. It’s so unfair.
I was born, and forcibly put through all of this suffering. Just for it to all be for absolutely nothing once I eventually drift back into sweet, sweet nonexistence again. For eternity.
