Tracking your workouts either with an App or notebook is essential for making progress.
You probably heard about progressive overload. In short: it's increasing your volume each week, this volume can be either sets, reps, weight or intensity. This prompts your body to grow more muscles.
In order to do progressive overload properly , you need to keep track of how many sets you did, how many reps and very importantly how intense did you do your sets. Was it easy you didn't feel anything and you felt like you can keep going or was it until failure. This is usually referred to as RPE.
RPE or rating of perceived exertion, is a scale that measures repetitions in reserve (RIR) during a set. In the table below you can see the different RPE rating and their meanings.

| 9 | 1 rep before failure |
| 8 | 2 reps before failure |
| 7 | 3 reps before failure |
| 6 | 4 reps before failure |
You can simply log that each time in your notebook when you're in the gym and try to beat it the week after. You don't need to increase the weight each time, but you want to increase something. This can be weight, reps, sets or RPE.
Most of the apps I used don't have RPE tracking. That's why I implemented this in Ezlift. I needed some sort of a way to know my RPE of the week , so I can beat it next week.

I'm looking for inspiration on where best to place my board. Long story short, I've done what I'm sure loads of people do, I watched the world championship and thought I'd dig out my old board and darts, both of which are in remarkable shape considering their age.
Board was still at my parents, had it in my bedroom as a kid (I'm now 37). Mrs is on board with this new hobby (for now) but I need to find somewhere appropriate to put it.
It's dawned on me what a funny shape my house is, that there's not really many spots for it, most obvious would be spare bedroom, on the adjoining wall. However, I get on great with my neighbours, and the thought of pissing them off with the noise is putting me off.
Do any of you use a stand or door strap? Are they a good enough alternative? How well does it fitting on to plasterboard wall?

Hi!
I cannot seem to find any high-level strategies on approaching a new web-scraping project. Everywhere I go, people talk about setting up the anti-block mechanisms such as proxies, implementing wait times before requests etc..
Whilst all that is great, I do not want to invest in all those mechanisms pre-maturely. What If the target website has 0 defense against bots? Then it is a waste of time.
Basically what I am asking is :
Should I start fast and without taking into consideration the anti-bot measures and get my IP address potentially blocked very soon and then slowly become more careful, or should I start extra careful and increase aggression if there have been no issues? What has been your experience?
Additionally, maybe there are some legitimate ways to evaluate the anti-bot measures implemented in the website?

2025.01.18 12:21 Various_Jelly20 Do your hotels allow you to oversell?
Literally nothing stresses me out more than coming into my hotel on a day when we are oversold. Today we are only oversold by two, provided that we fix our out of order rooms, but I have seen it in the past where we are oversold by 7-10 rooms.
We are also oversold by 5 queens right now, which means that 5 people who booked double beds will either need to be walked or moved to a room with only one bed which is not what they booked and that would set me over the edge too even though I am familiar with the hotel industry.
My manager said that we oversell because the more perfect 100% capacity nights that we have, the more money we get, but also the more oversold we are, the more we have to switch people's room types or put them in rooms that we know have maintenance issues and then we get worse reviews. I don't personally think that is an even trade off, but I'm not management so what do I know?
I don't even know how I am going to balance the house today, and of course since it is a Saturday, none of my managers are in house to take responsibility for helping us fix this mess. So, my question is: does your hotel allow you to oversell, and is this a common thing or is my hotel out of the norm?
