My GF [22F] and I [23M] broke up, kind of out of nowhere actually after having a nice date because I voiced out my concerns regarding our relationship.
You could say that everything was perfect. Everything about the relationship was perfect and I had no complaints, we barely even fought and from the outside, it really was genuinely fine.
It's just that, we couldn't be as intimate as I wanted us to be.
We grew up in different family backgrounds, and of course, she's just starting her career and all that, so she is still kinda tight with her family (we are both Asian by the way).
You see, I want to be intimate with her. More than just being intimate in public. I want to spend time with her doing nothing in bed, I want to cuddle with her, I want to have sex with her, I want to lie down on her lap as she plays with my hair, you know, things like those. Not only that but do things with her family as well, like travel for example, or join them in celebrating the holidays. My friends and their girlfriends are able to, so I've been thinking to myself, why couldn't we?
And for the longest time we just couldn't, mainly because of her family restrictions, plus her dad doesn't really like me. (She can't go out late, I can't go to her house, she has to come up of a great excuse/lie to her parents just to go to my house, etc.)
This has affected me one way or another. I feel sad that we couldn't do those things, but I've kept it to myself because looking at the entire relationship, like I said, it was fine. But this 2025, this new year I said to myself that enough is enough, I've been suffering in silence for the past 2-3 years because of these circumstances and I had to let her know how I feel.
She assured me that in 5-8 years from now she would be definitely able to, but in my case, I felt that I couldn't wait that long anymore. That's like waiting x3 the amount of what I've endured so far. I don't think I could have waited that long, so it was goodbye. After an intimate date no less.
Now, I'm not saying that I am now actively looking for someone who can do those things with me, but since I'm not really actively looking, and that it was circumstance as to how we got together (we started as classmates to friends to lovers), I'm now also thinking that will I even get what I desire? Should I have just stayed and endured? At this point this is just personal ramblings, but my question still stands. Was it a dick move for me to leave the relationship because I couldn't wait anymore? I've always been selfless, so I see this decision of mine as selfish, and it's messing me up because I feel like it goes against my nature of being selfless. I feel sick in the stomach; it's like I want to puke but I can't. And because of it I end up thinking that what I did was an asshole move, so tell me, was it?
P.S. any advice on dealing with this heartbreak? It's ironic because "I wanted this" e.g. I wanted to stop the relationship because of the things we cannot do, but it still hurts. I broke up with her because I've had enough, but I've been crying at the loss of a great relationship.

Hello,
I wasn’t a frequent smoker at all nor was I addicted but had a severe panic attack and had flashing images in my head after smoking weed. I tried it once more after and felt the same effects. Feel like my memory recall and ability to think has been significantly reduced permanently as I am 19 and have a developing brain. What do I do? I wasn’t anxious at first cos I thought it’d pass but it’s been 2 months and nothing has changed. I have a really high pressure degree to complete and just can’t process information quick enough at the moment and this is causing a vicious anxiety cycle. Please, any advice to get out of this, I have a feeling deep down that I truly have done permanent damage to my brain. I just want out.

I've had enough of eBay and FBMP because:
• Sellers often have unrealistic expectations and overprice their games just because they like them a lot • Sellers not properly checking the contents of their games and send them out with missing items • Scammers • Buyers who play the games once or fail to enjoy the game, then file a return with eBay for made up reasons to get their money back. I end up paying for shipping twice • Buyers stealing components then returning the item • Scammers CEX is a mess of a company, but I'd rather deal with them than eBay or some people on FB.
Once you sell or exchange your games to CEX, there's no nonsense to follow, the deal is done. I can then buy them with vouchers or even hard earned cash if I must. They already have a half decent collection of used and new/mint - depending on your luck - games.
This mainly applies to the UK. I'm not sure if they trade boardgames elsewhere!
