I have a ryzen 5 5600 and a 2060 super, i run the game at 2k medium settings and i noted that after i close the game my pc just crashes, I'm talking programs not responding, screen just disconnectes and turns off while the power button on the case just doesn't do anything, and i have to unplug the power supply to reset the computer.
Is it just me or is the game code so F ed up?

I have a VW Golf 2020 with 24k miles on the clock. I’ve noticed when my clutch isn’t pressed in and I’m in neutral I’m hearing this whirring noise which goes as soon as I press the clutch in.
No real performance issues but the noise is worrying me slightly. Anyone have any idea what it could be? Thanks

2025.01.18 12:29 desmondch First Jaybird, now Jabra... aaaargh for sports earbuds
So I've used Jaybird for years now, going from their X range, through Taras, then Vista and Vista 2's. Logitech bought the brand and I thought "oooh good, some firepower behind them, these out to get brilliant!"
And then they killed Jaybird off instead. 😢
Now that one of my Vista2's is misbehaving, I spend ages researching for some sporty replacements and was excited by the ANC and call quality reports of the Jabra Elite active range....
Only to discover they're exiting the earbuds market 😫😫
So I'm looking at:
- Sennheiser Momentum Sports
- Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise-Cancelling Earbuds
- Sony Linkbuds fit
Any views on the above 3 on the basis of those criteria? Or any other options I should be considering? (NOT looking for open earbuds like Shokz, and wont buy Beats on principle.)

and of course there may be other aspects that could be added to the above protocol that might enhance accuracy.

2025.01.18 12:29 makeupandjustice Y’all, I made it through night #1 and actually slept! IM SO HAPPY!!!!!!
I posted yesterday about how insomnia has finally led me to needing to quit drinking bc I can’t continue on this way (not to mention chest pain, liver pain, acid reflux, anxiety, mood fluctuations…). Last night was night #1 of sobriety and I was so scared of what was in store for me… I DID take a sleeping pill to help, and ended up getting 6.5 hrs of sleep! Certainly not enough but more than I’ve had in weeks! Added bonus is that my heart wasn’t racing, I didn’t need to take extra shots of liquor to fall asleep/in the middle of the night when I can’t sleep and I woke up feeling fresh as a daisy! No shakes, no anxiety, nothing. I was just so desperate to get out of the cycle of drinking then getting barely any sleep and trying to function on top of that. Taking my family out ice skating bright and early to celebrate!
