I’m 22 years old. It feels like I’ve been this way for years. I started taking coffee when I was in highschool, maybe once a week, as a treat and not as a necessity. Caffeine has always had a big effect on me and one shot of espresso would give me energy for the entire day.
After finishing school and university being mostly online because of the pandemic I’ve become an extremely tired individual. Nothing would work, I’d skip classes, sleep until late, if I forced myself to wake up and do something I would drag myself back to bed an hour later because I was so tired. I have times when it gets slightly better, usually in the warmer months, but in general I sleep 9 hours every night and if I don’t drink coffee I feel groggy the entire day.
Recently, because I’m quite busy and feel like I’m falling behind on everything (basically I waste entire mornings I could spend studying, working out, dedicating myself to hobbies I have not touched in years), I ask my family to bring me coffee to bed (which I understand sounds so entitled, but it’s the only thing that will get me up before 8am) and I’ve considered getting one of those timed coffee machines that you set up the night before and makes coffee automatically, so that I can keep this habit up without bothering the rest of my family.
It looks like a decent solution, but I feel so dependent on caffeine. Once the effect runs off I get headaches, really bad anxiety and feel even worse, and if I drink another cup I can’t sleep at night, which makes me wake up even later and goes against the whole point: I want to wake up early.
I’ve tried energizing teas, mate, eating big and nutritions breakfasts, but nothing improves my mood and energy in the morning quite like coffee. I want to quit at some point, but getting into this habit of coffee being the very first thing in the morning feels like taking a huge stepback.

2025.01.18 12:10 InWickedWinds After update to One UI 6.0, I must change the weather app back to Celsius everyday.
I want the temperatures that are displayed on my watch face to be Celsius. It seems I have to change the default unit of Fahrenheit (why?) to Celsius everyday as some time while it's charging during the night it resets.
Can I change or replace this weather app in a way that will keep the temperatures displayed on my watch face in C? Perhaps custom watch faces have their own defaults? I haven't tried many.

I’ve had silksong wishlisted since March 2019. I’ve been a silent lurker of this subreddit for pretty much its entire history, and a fan of Hollow knight since long before Silksong’s announcement. Over the years I’ve flip flopped between the ‘they don’t owe us anything’ mindset, and the ‘this silence is unjustifiable’ mindset quite a bit, but I usually returned to a neutral attitude of ‘I’ll come out when it’s ready’.
Throughout the 6 year wait for silksong, that belief hasn’t changed. I know that silksong will come out eventually, but I have never felt as insulted by Team Cherry as I do now, and this is an insult. After the years of silence, of overwhelming love and support shown to hollow knight and the team, and of the incredible success of the original game, to think William chooses to do this, and then not have the guts to admit what a terrible look it is himself.
I’m done. I just can’t bring myself to feel excitement or joy for Silksong anymore. Every time I think about the game, I just feel frustration and sadness where I should be feeling anticipation. Does anyone remember when we used to pretend the game was out, and playfully made up all these areas and bosses and plot lines for the game? I miss that time, the days of actual hype.
But it’s over now. In my mind, Silksong has been stained by Team Cherry’s actions (and lack thereof), and if I play it that will likely be the only thing I can think about as I do. Personally, I don’t want to support a team that thinks riling up their fans in this way is funny. If and when Silksong comes out, I don’t think I will be playing. I don’t care if it’s 10 times, even a 100 times better than Hollow Knight, I just can’t.
And hey, I might end up eating my words. A proper announcement comes around, and I end up feeling the hype again. If that happens, I still won’t want to support Team Cherry. I am patient. It’s a shame that we went from ‘give TC all our money!!’ To this. I don’t think I’m the only one.

Anyone uses TV Access instead of TV Pro? As my annual renewal is around the corner with an increased pricing this year, I've been wondering if perhaps it's worth going with a cheaper option (TV Access) instead? How long is the race delay? Or do they only release the race replay after it's over?
They seem to increase the pricing because of all the extra content they've been adding to their platform (F1 academy, F2, F3, etc.). I don't really care about those tbh, I just want to watch F1 FP's, qualifying and races and that's all. Why do they just not add a cheaper plan with F1 only?

RDR 2 Cinematography is top notch. I’m currently replaying RDR 2 for the first time and I still get goosebumps when cinematic scenes like this show up. Rockstar might take ages to create a new video game but it’s guaranteed that it will never disappoint us gamers that appreciates things like this.
