 | I was doing the last step of preparing my ants for hibernation which was reducing the amount of food (stopped protein and they were on their last sugar cotton before hibernation) they get and reducing the frequency of checks so that they can prepare and I was doing my last check/maintenance on my ant colonies before hibernation when I discovered the Lasius Niger queen ripped to pieces, the ants were still in a frenzy when they should be calming down preparing for hibernation, they were doing so well and I was not expecting anything to happen to them. I still have my 16 (was 24) queen Lasius Flavus colony but they are eating queens too when I did the food reduction step but they are slowing down unlike the Lasius Niger colony so this colony will survive to next year hopefully without any more deaths. Should I freeze the remaining worker ants as the eggs are the wrong species to boost my Lasius Flavus colony with, I’m just disheartened by it all and just want to put the Lasius Niger colony to sleep and just get the Lasius Flavus colony to hibernation. I also have a question about the nest that I got for Christmas, I have heard horror stories of colonies escaping from them and should I use the nest and partially cover the holes up with tape or should I forgo the nest completely and just 3D print one myself? The nest will be used for my remaining Lasius Flavus colony as it is growing very quick and will eventually grow out of their syringe TT but I have heard that they are very small and will fit through the gaps. 2025.01.18 12:51 aro-ace-outer-space2 Problems with timer quests?
So, I picked the 'have 18 foxes for 30 seconds' order for my settlement because I had 22 foxes and I'm trying to finish up the game. The timer started counting down, but I ran to go do something and decided it was a good time to save. When I went back into the game, the timer had stopped, and it was just saying 22/18 foxes, like it would if I didn't have enough of them, but it has the white numbers instead of the red, like it gives you when you've completed part of a quest, except the only task for that order was having the foxes and there was no check mark. This started at the beginning of Storm, and now I'm in Drizzle with 24 foxes and I've force-saved my game again, but the timer still won't restart, I'm rebooting my computer to see if that fixes it, but if not, what should I do? I feel like I've had a similar issue before, too? How do I avoid this in the future?

- Prize Distribution (via @wolfy): February 03, 2025
- 1st place: 3 keys per player (12 keys total for the team)
- 2nd place: 2 keys per player (8 keys total)
- 3rd place: 1 key per player (4 keys total)
- Strictly 4 players per team – 3 Demoknights and 1 Medic. Demoknights: Allowed melee weapons are the Bottle, reskin stock melee, or Persian Persuader. Only Chargin' Targe and Splendid Screen are permitted as shields.
- No substitutes allowed. Only one merc is allowed per match, with both teams' agreement.
- Teams must keep the same roster throughout the event.
- Respectful conduct is required; toxic behavior will lead to disqualification.
- A 15-minute grace period will be given from the default match time. If a team cannot have all members present, they can continue with the remaining players (e.g., 3v4).
- The default server will be either Singapore or Hong Kong, based on the agreement between both teams.
- Matches will be played on the official "Matcha Bookable" server, with all whitelist and configuration settings pre-set.
- Teams will use their own voice communication channels during matches.

It took me time to realize where his best position was. Only 2 skills added: Flip Flap and Outside Curler, no 2nd booster. He definitely needs Long Range Shooting, Acrobatic Finishing and Heel Trick. Build in 2nd pic and obviously a 2nd booster of your choice. Spoiler: Use him on Wings, he is really awful in any central position. Make that make sense for one of the best AMF IRL... Best position would probably be LWF but I don't play with wingers. I use him as a left SS in a 3 forwards formation. That's where he shined the most to me. He replaced my MSN pack Neymar there. He feels better position wise, although Neymar is glitchy with the dribbles I barely get to dribble with these awful servers (and gang banging midfield/CB meta) I think atm Kaka is just better while keeping that dribbling potential when needed thanks to good dribbling stats and Momentum Dribbling skill. Once again, better positioning than Neymar, good shooting (on par with Neymar's), decent Physical Contact, decent Stamina, better Kicking Power than Neymar, Activated Playstyle... Just a random thought.
What is the opposite of our modern day civilization?
Earth is a male dominant society so the opposite of it is Female dominated society.
Earth is science based which mean the opposite is magic based. Now here’s the kicker what’s the opposite of fossil fuel? The bodies of long dead creatures that inhabited the earth millions of years ago crushed and compacted for millennia till it resulted in a black gue, through the power of combustion engines it generates power to power our entire civilization.
Converted to fantasy. Physical body becomes Spiritual body which is basically Soul.
Souls (dead bodies) of the damned tortured in hell (deep underground) for millennia being used to power demon engines (combustion engines). The engine emits screams of pain (booming noise) as energy is extracts out every bit of energy from the tortured souls (oil), a byproduct of this process besides the noise is a black smoke.
Compellingly argument that earth is the scientific version of an evil necromancy empire. Especially with the introduction of robotic factories.
While in fantasy necromancers sends undead soldiers to fight, we instead use it for factory work instead.
So science benefits the entire civilization as a whole but magic is more individualistic. Like mages would benefit themselves and their magic tower compared to scientists that benefit the entirety of humanity by publishing their research. Completely opposite development directions. On earth male becomes the dominant gender because of physical prowess in fantasy world female would be gifted with magic so they became the dominant gender. On earth science has let us have a larger scope of “vision” letting us see from the formation of our universe from the Big Bang to the eventual heat death of the universe. The opposite of that would be a smaller scope of “vision” but instead has a firmer grasp of the laws of physics like the ability to bend it by summoning a bolt of lightning on demand or Teleporting where ever you may want. While fantasy can’t predict the eventual heat death of the universe trillions upon trillions of years later but it can teleport people at the present.
So while modern earth has complex logistical capabilities that can transport hundreds of thousands of tons of material in a matter of months, Fantasy can instantly teleport tons of material.
Earth has a larger capacity but it takes time whereas Fantasy can do it instantly but lacks capacity, as teleportation requires a magic of a certain level to do.
Earth has only only 1 race humans while fantasy has multiple races (humans, elf, dwarfs and so on)
What do you guys think? Interesting concept right? I’m not sure what story to write with this setting yet but I’m sure I’ll think of something.

I recently attended his Unfiltered Tour, and while it was an entertaining and uncensored show, I felt it lacked the polish and structure of a traditional stand-up comedy set. The comedian's strengths lie in his improvisational skills and ability to think on his feet, making him well-suited for live streaming or as a judge on a comedy panel show. However, as a stand-up comedian, he didn't quite hit the mark.
