I got in an argument with my friend.
Me: There's no Creator it's just nature that created the entire universe and what's beyond universe. It works automatically.
Him: How is it so perfect then? Nature is God. Only that has the power to create life. Think about gravity; we know how it works but the one who makes is work is God, the creator. He creates nature, he is nature.
Me: God is a belief. We don't know how things work or who makes them work. That's why people credit everything, even life, to some unknown who they call God. They lack knowledge that's why they believe. And God is just a belief.
Him: No, God is the Creator. Someday, even if you get to know how things work in the universe and beyond it. You'll never know what's making them work and who created them. And if you do, you'll submit to God yourself.
Me: Where the hell is He? (What should I even say now... Help reddit!)

I have a 7th gen (20QD-001VUS). Worked great since it was new. Suddenly yesterday, it won't charge. Windows shows it as plugged in and charging, but the charge just keeps going down. I've tried two different chargers. The Lenovo app says the battery health is good.
Overnight I shut it down and left it plugged in, but that made no difference. I'd be willing to believe the battery needs to be replaced at this age, but I thought batteries die slowly, not suddenly, and I don't think it's dead.
Any ideas?

2025.01.18 13:16 llamalyfarmerly Auxillary Detachment Rocks!
I just played my first game with the new detachment and having thought I would have my ass handed to me, I managed to win 87-43. The extra AP makes a big difference to weapons I have previously overlooked (flamers and missiles) and the 18" lone op helps to position Kroot on objectives without them being chewed up. I played against chaos marines with Fabulous Bills detachment / Abaddon.
Best Parts: - Missile Fireknives - the range and D2 with extra AP made chewing up marines easy. - 1-2 punching with kroot to tie up/finish off chaos units kept my Tau safe. - Kroot Rampagers are excellent! Especially with stratagems to punch up - Kroot Hounds are so cheap and fast to get into the face of a unit and get the extra AP as well as screen. They are great at getting the opponent to waste their shots at them rather than your Tau. - Pathfinders with ion rifles are deadly with the extra AP - As Kroot/Vespid are quite cheap you end up with a lot of extra bodies on the field which helps with screening and holding space on the field. -Deepstriking Kroot into the back lines is fun!
Drawbacks: - You need to be really careful with positioning in order to get the extra AP/lone op and it's easy to over extend. This can mean that it slows the pace of your main offensive lines. - A canny opponent can pick off your kroot which means the lone op is really important as well as taking enough auxillaries. - You can end up spending a lot of CP at key points to help punch up with your kroot or reposition, particularly early on.

Hello everyone. My baseboards make this gurgling sound (I know that means there’s air in the system and it needs to be bled off). This only occurs when we use hot water, not when the regular heat is on. We have an oil heat furnace with forced hot water.
Why do they gurgle when hot water is being used, but not when regular heat is being used? Thanks in advance.

I mean that mainly in the context of dating, self-improvement and living your own life.
I don't think you should care if you filter out people on the basis of things they cannot control or "take your pick of the litter" and only date the best people you can get in terms of personality, looks, income etc. It literally is of no importance to me if there are people out there that are less desirable and thus never get to date anyone. I can empathize but it will never make me change my opinion or habits for my own life.
You should never stop being athletic or get fat just because there are people out there that are overweight and feel bad when they are in a room surrounded by fit people. Of course because of human decency you shouldn't make them feel bad for it and treat them equally good.
Dating someone that is top-notch is a huge improvement in your life and vice versa. And of course it is very sad if someone did not grow up with the same privileges that allowed them to focus that much on self improvement, exercise etc but at the end of the day we have to live and deal with our own burden. No one is coming to save you.

Ok I remember watching Rugrats as they were airing and I distinctly remember an episode where two of the kids (more than likely Suzy and Angelica but it could have been any combination) were fighting over something and they fell into a closet or something for a transition to them in their All Grown Up designs and the whole episode was centered around it being a test episode for the All Grown Up series. The episode ended with them falling back into the closet somehow and that was the whole point of the episode. I just got done watching the entire series on Paramount and idk if they don't have that episode but it wasn't apart of the line up. Does anyone else remember it?
