I was in my English class chatting with my fellow classmates and my friend was asking someone else for help in Chinese. They were talking about how to say “it” and they said it was “ta”. So I started saying “ta” (I take Spanish) and they were just kept repeating “ta” over and over again. Then they started talking about root words or smth so I started saying “ta roof”
Anyways so now I’m fluent in mandarin 😼

Cooked this up a few weeks ago, need criticism plz! It’s still a WIP and idk what to add to it
The objective of this system is to take a classic, turn-based battle/dialogue system, but make it more flexible.
In most games, you kill things to get points, but in this one, killing is just one of the options. You can choose to befriend it, to leave it alone, to recruit it, to argue with it, to enslave it, or anything you can imagine. These depend on actions, which are the building blocks of this system.
This interaction system aims to avoid random encounters and also to avoid inducing “The Grind”, A.K.A making the player interact with the same exact enemy multiple times in a row for no reason.
Interactions will have only one entity. Multiple entities within the same interaction are outside the scope of this project, for now.
Some actions are considered to be good, some are considered to be bad, but this value is not hardcoded into the game, as it’s up to the player to decide what’s “morally” correct.
An example of an action could be “Compliment his hair” or “Point to a nearby object”.
There’s a special action known as “flee”. It causes the player to escape the interaction, but it has a 50% chance of failure.
Depending on the things the player or entity performs, the commentator will say different things to make the interaction more interesting and provide subtle hints to the player.
Some example scenarios include:
The commentator is always in lowercase because he hates his job a lot.
They’re mainly used in interactions to fulfill an action’s requirement. For example, a “Stab him in the face” action requires a “Knife” item. If the player doesn’t have the item, then they cannot perform the action.
Items can be found anywhere, primarily on the ground in a random area in the game, but they can also be obtained via traders/shops for a set amount of a form of currency.
Here’s a table showing all the different items that exist in the game:
NAME DESCRIPTION Water Bottle A plastic bottle containing H2O. Knife A small, but sharp blade. Toy Knife A small blade. Not sharp at all. Revolver A six-shooter handgun. Can o’ Beans A fart-inducing snack.
The player can use items from their inventory by accessing it at any time.

 | Hi Forum, im really desperate for some help as I cant figure this out on my own. I have installed a few smart home applications using docker on a raspberry pi 5. I have followed instructions from this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_94IUH_N20&t=1189s and the script which install everything is linked below https://raw.githubusercontent.com/EddieDSuza/techwitheddie/main/UltimateHomekitHubV2 i have installed nothing else and have the pi i purchased is from canakit and came with pi os desktop fully installed. On my router I also gave mi Pi a static ip of 192.168.1.64everything worked great and i could ssh into my pi and access things like homebridge using that IP. After a day or so I couldnt any more. So i physically connected to the PI (monitor mouse keyboard) and see it is still running and hasnt like shut down. IN my network connections I see there are two network connections, one called dock0.
