Can someone explain the mechanics of Roth conversions in retirement? I get the concept: when you retire, you will have less income and you can make Roth conversions in a lower bracket than when you were earning. However what do you do for income in those years when you are doing conversion? If you want to convert for 5 years, I assume you would need to have close to 10 years of cash to cover those few years of Roth conversion plus the normal buffer afterwords in case of a market downturn. This just seems like a lot of cash to have on hand. You would need to build it up early (and miss out on investments) or take a big tax hit if you sold assets in the few years prior (which would be bad for Medicare and stuff I hear). I guess the other option would be to sell stock and use capital gains (instead of income) to cover living expenses, but that is much riskier. What are y’all’s thoughts on this?
I am in my mid 30s and hope to have between 5-10 million in retirement between 401k/Roth/brokerage. Hopefully I’ll retire early if I can.

2025.01.18 18:30 Halfken Something doesn't make sense in the power scaling to me

So quick flashback back when Arthur got imprisoned after the pseudo invasion and lance kept him captive : Aldir (i think that was his name) totally obliterated the two dwarven Lance (i actually thought they were dead for a while) in a matter of second.
Then we see Arthur having his whole training arc and ending in not getting insta obliterated by those he trains with (although i'm sure he's way less strong).
Even older flashback, the Elf Lance got killed in what seems to be another no match by the retainer who looks like a monster.
Back to present, Arthur and most people around seems to compare Arthur as just being around the level of a Lance. But Arthur did beat a retainer? Isn't he on a totally complete other level compared to the Lances?
Something like :
Lance <<< ArthuRetainer <<<<<<< Asura people ?
Something doesn't feel right in the way everything is explained.
1) Lance are just peak of dicathia and not much else compared to other continent/special character like Arthur.
2) I don't even understand how the war isn't already lost with the Retainers being able to stomp Lances, and we're not even talking about scythe.
Am I missing something?

For a long time, another game from childhood, the graphics and opponents look like RTCW, I think it’s a mod, but I can’t find it. I remember only the first couple of levels, which begins in the winter with a partner, we eliminate several opponents and immediately the second level, where we enter the castle. There we are met by skeletons with a shield. That's all I remember. I played in 2008-2009, but according to the graphics it is exactly like 2000-2003. 2025.01.18 18:30 Sad_Handle5145 OBS Setup for 2 different aspect ratios

Hello together,
Hopefully things are coming along well for you guys :)
Guys, need your piece of advice regarding OBS.
Long story short, I'm trying to stream 2 different games, namely CS2 and PUBG.
My monitor is 1920x1080 (Zowie xl2546k 240 hz), and I play PUBG with this resolution too, but I play CS2 in 4:3, namely 1440x1080. The problem is that I always have to switch the "Base (Canvas) Resolution" and "Output (Scaled) Resolution" once switching the game.
For instance, when I play CS2 I have to put Base (Canvas) Resolution to 1440x1080 in order to have the streaming view the same 4:3 thus the viewer can see it in a way I see while playing, and the picture is not shortened. Output (Scaled) Resolution I leave always at 1920x1080.
But once I start playing PUBG which I play in a different resolution I have to change the Base (Canvas) Resolution from 1440x1080 to 1920x1080 manually otherwise the screen on stream looks not adjusted/scaled...or too wide, same applies to CS2 if use 1920x1080 in Base (Canvas) Resolution section.
The question is, how can I setup 2 different Base (Canvas) Resolutions for 2 different games with the same Output (Scaled) Resolution at 1920x1080 without always having to change it manually? The system is not allowing me to have it differently.
I've tried to add new scenes, new sources, but everything to no avail. Tried to Google or watch videos regarding this matter on youtube, but couldn't find anything applicable either....
Hopefully I've expressed myself explicitly, sorry for too many letters :D

Not bragging or anything, but I'm a whale when it comes to this game. The only cards I am missing in my collection are a hand full of 2 star cards. In an effort to avoid spending more money I was waiting for trading to get them, however the announcement hinted that we're probably going to be restricted to 1 star and lower cards for trading. That means that myself and other players alike will have to spend money to get higher end cards, and in the process of doing so will probably get every 1 star and lower rarity card. So having said that will there be any reason aside from being nice about it to use the trading system?

I've been scrolling through here and seeing people talk about using them for Gulliver's islands or selling them and I'm just wondering, how?? My game literally won't let me sell any event items from current or past events, and they don't even pop up for Gulliver's islands. I've used as many as I can in various parts of my game but I still have SO MANY that are just taking up inventory space, if y'all are actually using them in those ways I'd love to know how cuz right now I'm just baffled by this 🤣
I've been avoiding going to the island with the tourney as much as possible but absent mindedly went there cuz I needed other fish for some requests and with all the fish I've been given by the animals and my hubby at the concert area the event auto-collected them and now I have 10 MORE pillow beds plus a ton more pillows and I just wanna get rid of them all plus a lot of the ones I already had before that happened. 🤣💀
