2025.01.18 18:37 SoupChowderley Struggling after switch to Hard Mode
Played with small and large programs and did consistently well on Normal so I restarted on Hard playing UCLA.
My roster seems pretty good and recruiting is fine but I’m getting killed in the games. I went like 2-11 in my first year, upgraded the roster in the offseason, and then put up 3 points against a very inferior Cal team.
I’m running a balanced offense and 3-4 D with good coach matching. The only moderate success I’ve found is using practice focuses on running but it’s not what my roster is built for (or how I want to play).
Is hard difficulty huge leap? Am I doing something wrong? I’m curious if there are scheme or play calling strategies y’all have found to work

I've always seen isekai stories and they are generic for the most part... but I've never seen a story that tells a certain realism and shows a protagonist that really deserves what he has.
A while ago I asked a question about what kind of isekai story would be original and interesting to see. Seeing the comments I got inspired and made an incomplete story and I also have no idea if I plan to publish it or not when I feel it's ready. But here it goes:
The Chronicles of the Forgotten Soldier (working title):
In a world devastated by human greed and nuclear devastation, where only ruins, horrors of all kinds and a sky that seems to have forgotten the light remain, Vector Ademar, an old military soldier, is the last living human being on Earth.
Marked by a past of rejection and a war that took everything from him, Vector not only survived the ashes of an extinct civilization, but was forged by them: a disposable soldier turned hardened warrior, shaped by experiments that pushed him beyond human limits. For centuries, he has fought alone against the abominations that infest his world, facing the shadows of his own past and the scars of a lost humanity.
But survival is not enough.
Guided by fragments of memories, ancient enigmas, and a mysterious pentagram that has haunted him since his youth, Vector dedicates his existence to building the impossible: a portal that transcends time, space, and the laws of his world. When he finally activates it, he awakens in an unexpected place: a fantasy realm, where magic flows and the skies are as blue as he barely remembers.
Now, in an alien world filled with wonder and monsters, Vector pursues one last goal: to find the only people he cares about, the last connections to his humanity that may still exist in this new reality. What does it mean to feel lonely? Is it the absence of friends? Or maybe the lack of a partner?
I can’t quite put my finger on it, but I feel like something is missing in my life. I have family who care about me, and I have online friends to talk to, yet it still feels like there’s a void—like someone important isn’t there.
I crave the presence of someone I can physically be with, someone I can talk to face-to-face and share good times with. I’m not asking for a crowd of people or a million friends. I just want one truly good friend, someone I can feel completely at ease around.
Every day, I carry this heavy feeling in my stomach, like the anxiety I used to get as a kid when I knew I was about to get in trouble at school.
Maybe it’s more than loneliness. Maybe I feel stuck, like I’m treading water and not making progress, even though I have so much positivity and support around me.
I really hope this feeling passes soon.

I know that the a6700 is more future-proof and has in-body stabilization, but for my case, I will mostly be taking photos (portraits, landscapes, and some street & nature photography). I don't record videos very often. Do you guys think it's worth upgrading to the a6700 ($1.3k in my country), or should I stick with the a6400 (only about $700 in my country)?
