The NBA has had a lot of issues recently with public perception and the lowest hanging fruit is for them to build up these regional rivalries. These rivalries are born not out of hate for a team but deeper than that, Texas and Oklahoma just don’t like each other. If the league was smart they’d lean further into regional rivalries like this and fan the flames to build more culture surrounding good chunks of the schedule.
OKC, SAS, HOU and MEM should be easy rivalries for us but the NBA does nothing to bill them as such like they used to in the 90s/00s. I’m ready to let the hate flow again like it did for SAS and HOU during the 00s but this time throw in OKC.

Hi! I’m interested in starting a hydroponic garden for food and I really like the concept of the Gardyn system but a few things annoy me. I don’t like that there’s cameras, I don’t like that you have to use an app, and I don’t like the subscription service. It just feels a little too startup scam in a lot of ways for me?
I’m looking for something in a similar tower shape and size because my apartment isn’t huge but I want a decent amount of plants. I don’t have room for the horizontal kind, it just won’t work here. It’s going to need included lights where I can put it, and I’d like it to be fairly user friendly, although I’m fairly good at growing outside plants in dirt so I may have an easier time than truly new plant people. It would be wonderful if it was similarly minimally ugly to the Gardyn system because I have an otherwise cute apartment. Does anyone have any good recommendations? I’m sure this has been covered before but I’ve been haunting reddit about this for a month now and there hasn’t been a consensus that made sense for me. Also, feel free to hype up the Gardyn and explain why that’s the system for me, I’m open to it just skeptical. Also, my max budget is around $1000, but I’d love if it was less. Thanks!

Im attending a large formal work event among super rich well dressed folks and looking for advice with pictures if possible as I dont know what I am doing.
I refuse to wear a tie - thats where I draw the line. I am working the event rather than part of it if that makes sense so I dont need one. Just cant do my jeans and sneakers as usual :)
How can I pull this off without trying to look like something I am not and breaking the bank? would love some all in one thing from a store but idk im such a noob.

As many of you know, likely all at this stage, there is an ongoing protest over the passing of a congressional bill in March of last year that would ban TikTok from being downloaded or updated in the United States. However, this has deeper repercussions than it might seem. The attached image shows an excerpt from the bill, as it passed. According to 3B, any application owned by a foreign company is at risk of a ban, entirely at the discretion of the President. Tencent, being a Chinese company, and both Nintendo and The Pokemon Company being Japanese, Pokemon Unite is not exempt from a potential ban. Now, am I saying Unite will be banned? No, probably not. But it is a possibility, and one the average person likely would not have realized. I hope this post helps spread awareness about the potential long-term impact of this bill.
