2025.01.18 19:12 Elm_Huckleberry What’s wrong, and why can’t it be figured out.
I'm 20F, 5’6 and have an average weight. I’ve have been having leg problems on my left side for a few years but this past year it's gotten worse, with it only being my left leg that is effected, it's made me really concerned. I don't take any medicine that could have caused this but I do take ibuprofen to help ease the pain.
I went to a few doctors, l've been X-Rayed multiple times and they found nothing. I took a nerve test and my results were perfect, my nerves were working completely fine. I've gone to the Orthopedics, Neurology, etc- every single visit resulted in nothing.
Which is would be a good thing if it didn't affect me so much, I walk fine- I even love running (til the pain acts up). However when I go to sleep thats when the pain really starts. I can feel it all around (full honesty) my left cheek- internally, no outer pain. It moves slightly up towards my lower back, and down fully to my ankle. Though I feel pain in those areas, it's more... numb than anything else? Slightly aches but nothing bad, never enough to bother me but just enough to notice it, the only true pain comes from the butt area back to the tail bone.
Laying straight helps but it's uncomfortable to always lay that way since I always feel I have to move around. It's almost impossible to sleep, but I don't want to go to more doctors, and I feel maybe I should start doing some starches to see if that helps, but the concern that I might make it worse has me conflicted.

So I received quote from her team for about 35% more per graft than I have seen from anywhere here. I understand they booked their appointments months ago but isn't 35% quite a lot more for price bump in <1yr? Some options I see
1) Bring it up to the booking agent - since they shared reddit reviews from here - I can ask if the prices had gone up since and see how they address it
2) Bite the bullet and accept it for what it is. Shes still considerably (not so much now) cheaper than her peers - Path or Laorwang
Any thoughts on how to go about this?

Hi hello, so I’m in a relationship with a male partner. We’ve been together for nearly 5 months. He’s sweet and caring and constantly reassures me. He’s exactly what I’ve always wanted and he’s never done anything to make me doubt him, yet I’m so so insecure.
I haven’t been in a relationship for over 5 years because I spent that time doing what I thought was growth and was quite content and happy. He, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to have had much alone time from what he’s told me, which I think makes me nervous because I feel completely inexperienced.
I kind of already feel ridiculous being with him because we do have different interests, and I never understand what he’s talking about even though I try to. We don’t have the same humour or anything, which again isn’t an issue, I still get involved with the things he likes and watch them with him or go to see shows of them. It just kind of feels like our conversations don’t really go anywhere and it always feels like he has better conversations with his friends, whereas ours are always just relationship talk.
My biggest insecurity is the fact that the majority of his friends are women. He does have more feminine tendencies than he does masculine, which is a quality I love about him, and he’s also very openly told me before that he feels more secure and comfortable being friends with women than he does men, but would like more male friends, he just finds it difficult. Again, he’s done nothing to make me doubt him or his intentions, and does check in with me to see how I feel about him having female friends over or him going to see them. I always tell him it’s fine, and I’m happy for him to do that because I know he feels like he struggles to make friends because he’s autistic. I would NEVER EVER want to make him feel like he couldn’t see his friends and be around them because of me.
What can I do to stop feeling like I do. I know it’s insecurity, probably a bit of jealousy, but there’s a small part inside of me that genuinely does not like it and is not comfortable with it. How can I change my mindset? I adore him and want him to be happy, but I feel like he can tell that I just don’t like it, but I don’t ever want him to feel guilty about it because he hasn’t done anything wrong.
Please help.

Hey so I just noticed that I have unknowingly been taking 6 courses that are the same year as me (3rd year, third year course) and the rest are first or second year electives.
But this year I have only 5 courses that were within my year and the other 5 were first year (to help boost the gpa)
Is this something that will impact me getting accepted? I couldn’t find anything about it on the Ontario med schools websites
