I've recently decided to retire my character from an ongoing Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage campaign after adventuring through a few levels of Undermountain and being dissatisfied with playing a full-caster (a Twilight Cleric). I typically enjoy playing a DEX-based gish or martial, but this time I want to build a STR-based character that can fit around my party's composition. The party includes:
- High Elf Evocation Wizard with a Shield Guardian
- Human Eloquence Bard/ Abberant Mind Sorcerer
- Half-Elf Bladesinger Wizard/ Echo Knight Fighte Monk
Character Creation Rules:
- Level 11
- Race: Variant Human
- Background: Noble
- Stats Rolled: 12, 13, 15, 15, 17, 18
- Start with 1 Very Rare and 2 Uncommon magic items as well as 20 Platinum, 2087 Gold, and 5 Silver
- Only officially published material
- Min/Maxing is encouraged as my party is a bunch of power gamers

I am new to InDesign. I'm trying to help a friend self publish a coffee table book using some of his existing content.
I have two different sources, both are 8.5" x 11". One is a .docx in Word and Google Docs. The other are 16:9 slides from Powerpoint currently saved as PDF (with massive margins top and bottom to fill the landscape 11 x 8.5" pdf).
He complained how difficult this has been to "format" since its so many pages. I knew I could figure it out... Especially with my secret weapon InDesign (having not used it in over 10 years). This has proven very difficult.
My current plan: configure InDesign template to my printers recs. Then place from either PDF or Word into InDesign, make small changes where needed, done.
Blurb is the on demand printer I'm favoring. They offer a 10 x 8" print size, then I would use 0.5" margins and .875" inside margin. I configured the frame to "auto-fit". A few pages would be manually adjusted to full page with bleed.
I have the template with frame just the way I want it. When I try to place from either Word or PDF nothing seems to respect the frame. They do not resize to fit inside the frame. And then there's the problem of placing like 600 pages... I have tried PDF script and Word (shift click) both having other issues.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi everyone! Looking for advice on where I should start to upgrade my current PC setup. Built it custom about 7 years ago, and I have started to have performance issues running some of my favorite games. Main problem is that I cant play Squad, one of my favorites, with my current setup.
Here's my hardware -
MSI Motherboard Z370-a PRO
GTX 1060 6gb
Intel i3-8100
RAM - 8gb
Also running a EVGA 500 BI power supply and 250gb SSD for storage. Just aifans for cooling nothing fancy.
My first thought is that I need more RAM, but how worth it would it be to upgrade my graphics and CPU. Would one do me more good than the other? Also, is there any sort of maintenance i can do help get more life out of my system without new hardware? I appreciate any and all advice/help!

If you seem to have trouble with Rustangelo not painting or working its because you are doing things to the game like using borderless gaming, running the game as admin mode / comparability mode. undoing these settings and switching to full screen (witch works almost like borderless anyways) will fix the issue.
