I have a 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport 4.7L V8 and the thermostat keeps failing. My father has put at least 2 thermostats on the truck in the past 2 years but they continue to fail as I have just gotten a code on my OBD2 reader that the thermostat stays open for too long leading the engine to not reach optimal operating temp. What could be the problem?

2025.01.18 18:52 moarmagic 95 hours, and i finally beat the game.
I am smart, in some ways. People respect me at my job, i swear.
But for some reason my brain has never been great at intuitively comprehending game systems. And it doesn't help that when playing roguelikes, i do just kinda expect to die a lot, blame some of it on poor RNG, and not just really grasp some of the mechanics.
Anyway. 80 goddamn hours in, and i didn't realize that killing the crew of enemy ships resulted in better scrap, vs just blowing them up, until I ran across one comment that made me start looking up this community and read the wiki. I had written off Ion weapons as a gimmick- but 'surely a weapon that can do hull damage and system damage would be preferable'.
I never really invested heavily in engines.
I downplayed missiles because "A drone has better damage-per-part, and teleporting bombs ignore shields and drones".
I don't think i had ever bought a teleporter.
I'd still managed a couple ship unlocks. I still had been enjoying the game. But damn, the last 15 hours in it i've been playing an entirely different game.
Looking forward to continuing to unlock things, and eventually install multiverse.

Hello fellow Redditor’s I have posted before but not yet been able to find what I am looking for. I have not had luck with normal dating apps and figured there’s no harm in trying my luck with Reddit.
I am 44 male living in the mountains of Colorado and not looking to leave. My life did not turn out quite as I expected, I thought I had it all planned out, I met a wonderful woman, we got married had a kid and a wonderful life together, but suddenly that was all pulled away from me when I lost them in an accident when I was 25. I threw myself into my work and career as that was all I had left. It took many years but in my late 30’s I eventually started dating again but I have not been able to find the right woman for me.
I had planned on having a bigish family, I love kids and I grew up as an only child and wish I had siblings, so I never wanted to have just one child. Given that I wanted kids I dated younger women most of them either wanted to have their own career, were not ready of children or were just looking for a someone to spoil them. My dream is to find a woman in her 20’s to early 30’s who is ready to have a family with kids emphasis on the plural of kids, as I well established with my job here so you would either need to be local or willing to relocate to me. I believe that a husband should provide for his wife and kids. I also desire a wife who would be happy being a stay at home mom, I could never imagine having kids and then sending them off to a day care. Why have children if you do not want to spend time and care for them.
I will also mention that I have always had a slightly kinky dominant side and that has been more pronounced in my relationships with younger women as it just feels natural that as the older partner with more life experience that I take on a more dominant and guiding role. I am not into anything too extreme and we can discuss all that in more detail in private.

There’s a DIY platform being sold in my area for €70. Do you think it’s worth it, or should I go for something higher quality or build it myself? The platform consists of plastic pallets, which are “decoupled” from the floor below and the chipboard panels above using rubber sheets. The platform is deliberately designed to be simple for easy and quick (de)assembly. Only 8 screws (or more if desired) and a few cable ties are needed. It’s currently disassembled and transportable. Good morning. After reading Carlo Rovelli's book "Beyond the Visible", a question torments me and a theoretical or conceptual leap seems bold to me. He states that elementary particles or electrons only EXIST by interacting with other particles. I understand that by going to “see” the subatomic world, we disrupt it because of the tools used which therefore interact with the particles. But to say that particles only exist as long as they interact with other particles seems to me to be a bold conceptual leap. Wouldn't it be "simply" our inability/impossibility to KNOW this world without interacting with it? I'm just a curious person, and I'm not capable of discussing what I read. So, wouldn't it ultimately be impossible to know? For my part, I "believe" in a reality outside of us, independent of the knowledge that we can have of it (a bit like Einstein) Can anyone enlighten me? Kind regards.

When I click "Add Faces" for a photo, the circle appears in the center of the screen and I can name someone. But, when I attempt to add additional face names the name circle appears over the first one. The same happens for any additional attempts. They cannot be moved and any names I enter replace the first one. Anyone have any suggestions--so frustrating!
