I live in Altadena just under the Angeles National Forest I’m lucky enough to say my house is mostly fine but much of my neighborhood and street isn’t as lucky. I’ve been in a locked down evacuation zone for about a week and finally left.
Mountain biking helps me clear my mind and it’s something I obviously enjoy very much that I really wanna do in a time like this but the issue here is my local trails have burnt or just aren’t accessible due to the forest being closed.
I’ve never really rode anywhere other than these mountains above my house and I finally have some time tomorrow to maybe get out on the trail but I need help for trail recommendations nearish to Altadena/Pasadena that aren’t in the Angeles National Forest. I’m an intermediate rider and can handle most blacks but not every double black. I like jumps, drops, techy stuff, just the usual you know.
Any help would be appreciated.

I just realized my spare tire is 12 years old and their life expectancy is 10 years. I'm looking to get a new tire but it seems like all the local places don't want to waste their time replacing the tire with a new one (I called 4 local places and one of them told me it would be cheaper to just buy a new one).
I'm looking for one but all I can find are 10+ yr old ones on ebay... does anyone know where I can pick up a newer spare for my '13 Corolla?

Moin,
mal eine Frage:
mein Infolehrer (Abitur) hat in den letzten Wochen mit uns zum Thema "Grafik" hauptsächlich Wikipedia-Artikel als Unterrichtsmaterialien verwendet. Er selber ist ehemalig Ukrainer, lebt und arbeitet jedoch seit rund 20 Jahren in Deutschland, hat auch hier Lehramt studiert. (Was sein Deutsch nicht wirklich besser macht, aber damit habe ich kein Problem direkt)
Das heißt, er hat einfach die Wikipedia-Artikel zu bspw. Farbtiefe, Additiver und Subtraktiver Farbmischung heruntergeladen und diese einmal im Unterricht durchgelesen / vorgelesen.
Andere Dateien sind 1:1 aus verschiedenen Websites kopiert, die halt als 1./2. Treffer bei Google rauskommen. Er gibt hierbei aber auch keine Quellen an.
Diese Dokumente nimmt er dann einmal im Unterricht durch, und dann verbringen wir den größten Teil der Stunde damit, alleine irgendetwas Programmiertechnisches in Python zu machen. Das 90% hierbei keine Ahnung haben wird hierbei ignoriert, irgendwann wird dann verglichen, wobei das auch kein Vergleichen ist, er diktiert, wie er es hat, und dann ist die Sache auch rum. (Das fehlen von Ahnung ist auch seinem Mangel an Fähigkeiten zuzuschreiben; wir haben innerhalb von 180 Minuten die Grundlagen inklusive die Objektorientierung durchgenommen - das da bei einem Großteil nichts über 7 Tage hängen bleibt, sollte klar sein.)
Jetzt schreiben wir Klausur, als Themen haben wir insgesamt rund 25 Seiten Wikipedia- und andere Artikel.
Ich persönlich finde das ganze Unterrichtsgeschehen mehr als dürftig, auch die Klausurvorbereitung und die Themen echt unterirdisch.
Stelle ich mich hier einfach nur an? Oder ist Umfang sowie die Vorbereitung der Klausur "normal"?
