Hi All,
I have setup a trigger-based helper sensor (via configuration.yaml) to get attribute values from another sensor (which comes from an integration). I thought trigger-based sensors retain their last state when HA restarts - however, my helper sensor loses its last value and attribute values a couple of seconds after restarting. I did notice the reference sensor is not available (i.e., I cannot find it) seconds after HA restarts - it takes a while for the reference sensor to come back post-reboot.
I am using the following trigger - is there a way to force the sensor to keep its last values when the reference sensor goes missing post-reboot?

2025.01.18 19:00 tacotruck1927 First time owner. In the beginning of my cycle. Planning on adding live plants soon. How the home looking so far?
I'm having fun steadily adding to it over the course of the last month or so. I wanna make this the nicest little spot overtime for my baby and give them some climbing enrichment. Might add a hammock soon. Really hope it's not horrible lol.
HOB filter and sponge filter have been assembled and are doing their job quite well.
Fan is a tight clip on, 3 speeds and secured for cooling up top once they're home safe. I had to go through two because the first one kept falling off the lip and was far too dangerous. A chiller will be added later when I can afford it, but for now, I'm managing.
(Yes obligatory tiny squidward house cameo added just for the lulz and decor, if it gets to be an issue in the future it will be removed for more plants).
