So we lived in a property as a family of 3 (2 adults 1 toddler). We went with EG (not sure if I can post the name of the well known EA), they had an offer of zero deposit. We were due to give keys back on 28th December, we did give them back on time. We cleaned and emptied the house (considering it was over Christmas). While wenwere there the house had a number of issues including damp throughout and the work men they hired cane and slapped some plaster on a part of the kitchen and never returned to cocer it with paint. They have tried to claim for that on deposit I have said it was your workmen. Plug damaged ( I agree, we did forget to replace it so not disputing that). But how much of a clean can they claim back with? We cleaned including rug doctor the floor, there was some crumbs left in the kitchen drawers, scuff marks on doors and staining from a leaking toilet which I reported and it was fixed. We still are awaiting a 'bill' on leaving. But I would like to dispute. They have already re rented out the property, so it cant have been that bad đ¤Ł

Weâve been stuck in court for 4 years and received a default judgment, but justice still isnât being served. Was this fraud?
We hired a Construction/ contractor for an exterior home renovationâsiding, a porch, and a gazebo. We paid $76,000 upfront, and the contractor tore down our old siding but never completed the work or provided materials. He lied about being a limited company, didnât have proper licenses, ignored four court requests for receipts, and cashed checks under an incorrect business name.
The worst part? This wasnât just any contractorâhe was a trusted friend of my wife. That made it even more devastating when he took the money and disappeared. To make things worse, his girlfriend started interfering, trying to shield him from consequences and prevent us from holding him accountable.
We took him to small claims court and won by default, but enforcement has been a nightmare. We escalated to the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Affairs, who recommended criminal fraud charges. We even paid $5,200 for an expert witness, who confirmed fraud. Yet when the case reached the prosecutor, they refused to proceed without explanation.
At this point, weâre demanding a formal written reason from the prosecutorâs office, filing complaints with the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, considering media exposure, and refiling with the police using our court ruling as new evidence.
Does this sound like fraud to you? Has anyone successfully forced criminal charges in a similar case? Any advice on how to push this forward?

 | Tekken 8 is my first fighting game that I decided to take seriously back in early April last year. I started the game with a few friends and it only took me a week to really get hooked. I got myself a leverless controller and played Hwoarang for about 100+ hours and was hard stuck red ranks for months. Not fully grasping the game quite yet, just surviving off of Hwoa's 50/50s and b3. At that point I felt like I hit a wall and that maybe I needed a change so I picked up Claudio. I got him to Mighty Rule in the first 24 hours of playing ranked with him and I was on a high. I took a break for a while, mainly only doing quick plays and all that, I even competed in a TNS tournament for fun. Now, after about 300 hours on Claudio, with some side characters for fun from time to time, I'm Raijin. Throughout this entire time, a friend of mine who started playing the game a few weeks before me, is Tekken God, and also has double my hours lol All of this was a very winded way of saying, this game and fighting games in general are a different pace for everyone. I'm still learning the different skill bracket that is in the Blue ranks and the people above tekken king are fighting the best of the best while everyone purple and below are still dealing with the elo hell of people who are semi comfortable and people that are brand new entirely. I applaud all of us for continuing ranked play and getting better at the game. We win some we lose some. The one thing I think I have gained in my time playing is noticing my mistakes before blaming the game or someone using a "cheap" character. That being said, YOU MFRS NEED TO GET A LAN CABLE BRO!! WHY ARE YOU PLAYING RANKED ON WIFI???? I got my Anbernic for Christmas last year. Itâs basically a brick. To worked for about two weeks then it started crashing when turning on. I complained to the âcompanyâ which responded with very confusing instructions on what to do. I had my brother fix it as he is more savvy with programming. It worked for about another two weeks and now itâs doing the same thing. Does anyone have any advice. For the four weeks that it worked in the last year I really enjoyed it.

Flaxseed roasted (1tbsp) Breakfast 1. Besan cheela with less oil (2 piece) 2. Boiled egg white (2) 3. Apple Snack 1. Fresenius hp (2 scoop) 2. Pear Lunch 1. Vegetable Brown Rice (1 katori) 2. Iâm writing this post with a lot of hesitation, but I feel like I have no other option right now. Iâm in a situation thatâs been weighing heavily on me, and Iâm hoping to find guidance or help from others.
A little about me: I come from a middle-class family in jharkhand. My father is a hardworking farmer, and growing up, we didnât have much, but we always got by. When I got into college, I was so excited to step into a new phase of life. I wanted to explore, fit in, and experience all the things Iâd only dreamed about.
Not long after joining college, I got a credit card without any income proof. It felt like a lifeline at the time. I started using it for clothes, trips, and other expenses I couldnât really afford, thinking Iâd pay it all back on my pocket money. But soon, the bills piled up, and I couldnât keep up with repayments.
To cover the credit card debt, I began taking other small loans and borrowing money from friends and trusted people around me and Now Iâm under a financial burden, and every day feels like a struggle. Iâm constantly anxious, and itâs affecting my mental health, my studies, and my relationships with people.
I regret every decision that brought me here, but the reality is, I donât know how to fix this. Iâve trying to find some part time jobs but my mental health is worse right row and don't able to focus properly on anything.
I know this situation is entirely my fault, and I take full responsibility for it. But right now, I need help whether itâs advice, guidance, or support on how to deal with this mess. If anyone has been through something similar or knows of resources or ways to navigate this, please share them with me.
Even the smallest help from you can put my life back on track and pull me out of this hell. I just want to get my life back on track and take control of this situation before it gets any worse. I can't ask for any help from my family because 45k is lot of money for us and my family financial condition is not good.

I'm trying to pay all the debt i have taken but i have only pocket money of 2k for my college expenses and in that i only end up paying interest of the loans which i have taken.
