 | This is supposed to be our “Christmas tree” same thing happened last year (however we were slow to repot and it was outside in the sun) This year we repotted it, kept it inside (as the tag said that was fine) kept it well watered (as the tag said to) and the bottom half has still gone crispy. I moved it outside under shade for some natural light but we are about to have an extreme heatwave so it’s inside in the window there. Is it just from the repotting? Am I over watering? my family has this tradition of picking to go to a waterpark or just holding christmas at my grandfathers house, but this year we did both, or we just did games at my grandfathers house and we were going to go to the waterpark. and so before my family went to the waterpark my mom got a gift for me and my sister and it was just like a hoodie and sweat pants from temu but she put them into these gift bags, i was grateful but the hoodie material was this like jersey material and i really didn't like it and i know i wasn't going to wear it but j liked the sweatpants. so after we to the waterpark, but after when we were home my dad dropped off my mom at the front of our house to put some gifts under the tree which j know they wrapped because i saw them when j was getting some water at night. but after we all got inside all the presents had all my siblings names on them and there were none with my name in them, which j was surprised because my mom had told us before that we didn't have the budget for presents this year, so to say the least i was kinda surprised after she had said that and she put in all this effort to get gifts for all my siblings but me. so when they all got the chance to open theirs gifts my mom had me sitting there watching them opening all their presents and i tried to pretend to not care, but j started to cry a little so them i went up to my room. but idk if my mom just didn't get me any gifts or stuff because j told her that my friends were holding a secret santa and she thought j would get stuff from that, but j think she forgot that it was all a bunch of high schools holding it and all j got from it was a plushie, i don't really like plushies because j don't really like them because i have no reason for them, some candy and a candle, that j can't even use because my mom doesn't like open flames in our house. so yeah and also i do have a dad in my life my mom is not a single parent! but yeah i just feel like kinda weird because i thought my mom wouldve got me some presents if she had gotten all my siblings things, but idk if im just ungrateful, but yeah and all of this is from christmas 2024😋

Hello everyone, I’m about to be 30 soon and I’ve come to the realization my career path of choice maybe isn’t what I want to do anymore, and need some advice.
Some info on current job. I have been truck driving for the past 6 years. In mid 2023 I landed my “ Dream job “ with a company hauling fuel. The work is local so I’m home everyday and pay is good for my area, $89k first full year. Senior drivers ,5+ years, are making low 90k a year. Schedule is 5days a week 12hr shifts (no weekends or holidays off). The idea of no upward mobility and 12hr shifts till retirement doesn’t sit well with me as much anymore. Prior to this I worked in Tech support for a satellite Tv company and before that fast food restaurant.
The three things I’ve been looking into BA in Accounting (online) Some kind of BA in Tech (online) Last and most unlikely is learning to Day Trade ( I have a friend who is constantly preaching Day trading lol)
This whole thing has been on my mind a lot lately. Is this just a life crisis and I should just be happy where I’m at? Is it too late to make a career change and be successful? Any advice would help, and thank you if you’ve made it this far.

2025.01.18 22:51 Reflectra I was very, VERY wrong with cheats and scripts.
I have 3k hours in dota and ı was always bragging about how clean dota is from cheaters and how it is comparatively harder to find a cheat for dota. My understanding of game and struggles to climb was always echoing as "if you put, say, topson in lower brackets, he would've carry %80-90 of his games to at least divine. So quit bitching and gitgud"
Today ı was telling my friend that ı maybe seen 1 or 2 blatant cheaters on my lobies and why dota is cool on that matter and oh boy was ı wrong about whole story... The argument got a bit spicy and my friend told me " do you really think dota is clean ? it's just not that easy to understand who is cheating or not" then he proceed to google something that ı won't name here to spread cheats and downloaded a 10 mb of loader. He gave his random e-mail, and system gave him FREE 15 days to use that loader.
5 mins later, he started dota from that spesific loader and WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. Cooldown trackers, map pings of jungle creeps dying, auto dodge, auto last hit, auto combo, auto steal... EVERYTHING was under his cntrol from that uı and it only took him like 15 minutes from download to enter a game. I was and still am shocked, if you just close obvious things (which the ui is telling you which functions are high risk of use!!!!) you can just gain an advantage with map pings, cooldown trackers and last hits... I don't know how to feel about this. I was so wrong about cheater situation in Dota. Sorry everyone that was crying here about cheaters that ı kinda bullied... What the actual fuck.
no tldr, ı guess dota had much much much more cheats than ı was assuming.

When I was a teenager, I was a predator.
Many years ago, I was a horrible kid.
I had bad insecurities. Went thru some minor trauma. And I hated myself. Specifically, I hated my body. Not hitting puberty til after I was 15. Not growing til 16.
When that happened, I lost my mind. I showed my junk to younger kids. I sexted and went on Omegle, talking to other teens older and younger. I found illegal content on Omegle. I watched it.
In college, I finally talked to girls. I slept with 40 of em. I cheated. I kept sexting.
Now, I’m older. Sure I guess wiser. Because I’m wiser, I’m appalled at who I was.
I won’t mention sui—-. But I think about it all the time. I never assaulted anyone. I never raped anyone. I never touched anyone.
But I was a sexual maniac as a teenager.
If people knew I’d be ruined.
If my work knew I’d be fired.
If my friends knew they’d ghost me.
If my family knew they’d disown me.
If I was caught, I’d be in jail.
I hate myself.

2025.01.18 22:51 mirkogradski Galaxy S20 Ultra Fast Charging Gone Forever?
I've had my S20 Ultra going on 2 years now and when I first received the phone, the fast charging worked for about 4 months until one of two things may have happened.
Either a software update bugged the fast charging feature to the point it just doesn't work anymore when you plug it in or a connector prong is messed up in my charging port and fast charging no longer works.
The phone will still fast charge on the Samsung branded 15W wireless charger which is interesting.
I scoured the Internet for a few weeks a couple of months back trying to find any other tips. People have stated try new USB-C cables I did but negative. I think my next step is to buy new charging bring and wires straight from Samsungs website.
I searched past posts on this sub and I was surprised I didn't see much about this issue. Anyone else have this happen during the life cycle of their S20 Ultra?
