The dream started out simple enough, my mum, my dad, my sister and my brother in all but blood stood in my house, I remember vividly that I was talking to my Dad about our shared hobbies when he began to... melt, flesh sloughing off of him in waves as his eyes popped and his jaw unhinged in a silent plea for help, those of my family still present did not acknowledge the happenings as they continue to watch a jumbled TV show that did not make any sense to my mind, my Dad, now a pile of desiccated bones and bubbling sinew slowly flowed onto the floor, my mother and sister soon joined him, yet they instead seemed to not notice the changes as they too slowly melted, I was somewhat aware of said event as I turned to my brother in all but blood and began to talk to him too, about random nonsensical simlish-like words, the TV faded to black as he too fell to the floor, it was as if in that moment my brain jolted back into existence, I was entirely convinced I could save my family, and in a maddening haste bolted to the bathroom, where I grabbed the nearest flathead screwdriver my subconscious remembering that said tool had been used to affix a new shower to the wall... the shower wasn't there, nothing was there just a twisted red amalgamation of limbs, bones and flesh that held the face of my sister, dad, mum and brother all at once as it also began to speak, it was incomprehensible, the words that flew from its many mouths were familiar but held a different syntax, jumbled as they were almost like the word puzzles you solve in those books your mum used to buy you to solve on a long car ride home just to shut you up, the mass didn't so much as approach as it maddeningly tore space so that it was always in front of me, gently plucking the screwdriver from my hands as another hand, rough, callused brought my eyes up to look at theirs, the being didn't so much as smile, the skulls growing almost exponentially with tumours jutting from every surface, hanging limply. I couldn't forget the sight at all as the hand holding the screwdriver slowly, achingly was pressed into the crown of my head, I can still feel it now, a spike of pain in my skull then an odd burrowing and displacement of pressure as my brain was punctured by the screwdriver, held in the beings arms as it whispered to me, the words chilling yet all I felt was comfort as I was certain that I would be able to fix whatever happened to my family... I woke up moments later with the phantom pain of having your skull punctured by a flathead... all day I've not been able to talk with my family, I have just been sitting in my room, I still feel the burrowing and pressure behind the eyes, I am not a psychologist so I don't know the intricacies of such a dream... but I thought posting of it semi anonymously would have been the best way to get such a thing off of my mind.

Can someone explain to be if you relate or have gone through similar situations? Okay so first I have a psychiatrist and I’m on medications that they just switched up (it could be from that but it’s been happening before that to I think) and I have a therapist to. I just started seeing her almost a year maybe two years ago. That’s crazy. Becuz I’m not getting any better with my mental health sort of tho Anyway I have these sensations where someone touches my shoulders and there not there and then I’ve been having these sensations or thoughts/feelings whatever u wanna call it around my arms like someone is hugging me and trying to calm me down. And I believe in angels and the lord and maybe it’s them trying to comfort me but I can’t take it it’s to much! Idk if it’s the devil or a demon messing with me or maybe I think it’s spiders crawling on me??? But it feels like a forces hug around my arms. Can anyone relate? Do you know any coping skills that could help or make it kind of stop (no meds or therapy plz) I’ve tried to tell them to tone it down a notch like the feeling of them holding me or telling me it’s okay we’ll that’s a nice thought but everything else is to much! Plz help message me or comment below(:

First, it decreases efficiency and makes the child's life more difficult, as well as the lives of a lot of people who interact with the child. It creates unnecessary extra effort every time the child introduces themselves, fills in a form, their name has to be registered in a database, and so on and so on. On the other hand, having one last name is usually short and sweet, is easy to use, and acquaintances can remember and use it efficiently.
Second, often the main argument from people who do this is that both parents want their last names to live on. But what happens when the child with two last names has children? Will their children have 3 or 4 last names? Will their descendants have infinite last names? Some of these last names will have to be cut eventually, so parents who give two last names basically force their children/descendants to make difficult choices in the future, by making them have to cut some last names. That is short-term thinking, and just selfish.
I think it would be better if parents would just chill out, keep it simple and give their children just one last name. Even if it means setting their egos aside for a bit.

Vi esta obra por accidente y me pareció genial. Una comedia para todo público pero no por eso es simplista o boba. El tema tiene que ver con la ciudad, los vecinos y la familia.
Cada recurso de la producción se aprovecha al máximo. Cada actor interpreta sus papeles de manera muy divertida.
En verdad creo que merece ser vista por mucha más gente de la que estuvo hoy en el teatro.

 | I got a CEL on my 2016 Silverado 1500 5.3L V8 with the accompanying codes. I noticed I have a significant crack in the engine air cleaner intake duct housing (plastic). I know with those codes it could be a slew of issues but is it a safe assumption that is the culprit? I’ve been getting hammered with unfortunate financial life events and could really benefit by saving money where I can and avoid a mechanic bill if I can do this myself. 2025.01.18 22:51 Competitive_Kale_855 Razer Taipan replacement?
Does anyone know of a mouse like the Taipan that isn't Razer? After 10 years, my Taipan is no longer serviceable. Its scroll click stopped working years ago so I mapped it to a side button. Now that side button will send anywhere between zero and three clicks per press. And just as annoyingly, its sensor occasionally glitches and won't track properly.
I've gotten very used to its shape and would like to stay with something similar if possible, as well as a couple extra buttons on either side.
I haven't gotten to try many mice, but the only things I know I don't like are the wings on some mice that keep your thumb and pinky off of your mousepad and the Razer DeathAdder; my hand just doesn't sit on it right.
Wired or wireless are both fine, I'm not competitive, I use fingertip and claw grips, and I never really go above 2000 dpi on the Taipan. Cost is a bit of a concern, $50 would be cool, but I know mice get expensive.
