My memory is a little fuzzy, but I believe this game was black-and-white with a female main character. The game had a "creepy" vibe, and I believe there was a mechanic where the main character could see demons or shadow creatures to solve puzzles. I distinctly remember a british accent, I believe it was a london accent. I always confuse it with Lorelai, but that's not it. I specifically remember Jesse cox and Dodger playing this game, but perhaps I mis-remember.

Ich (M18) bin seit ein paar Wochen in meiner ersten Beziehung. Wir übernachten so oft es geht beieinander, mal bei mir, mal bei ihr. Natürlich ist es schön gemeinsam Zeit zu verbringen und auch nebeneinander zu kuscheln und zu schlafen, aber ich merke, dass ich neben ihr nicht ruhig schlafen kann. Ich weiß nicht woran es liegt, aber ich tue mich wenn sie da ist unglaublich schwer damit einzuschlafen, woran mein Schlaf und Wohlbefinden sehr leidet.
Nun bin ich mir unsicher, wie ich das Problem am besten angehen soll. Bald beginnt bei mir die Prüfungsphase an der Uni, ich sollte also wirklich genug Schlaf kriegen. Ich bin irgendwie unsicher ob es gut wäre vorzuschlagen, dass wir in nächster Zeit getrennt voneinander schlafen. Was wäre laut euch der beste nächste Schritt?

Hi everyone!
I've been wanting to see the Northern Lights for over ten years! I've been to Iceland twice and Norway once, but never was able to see the Northern Lights yet. I did manage to see a glimpse of the Northern Lights right outside my own city (I live in the Netherlands); so that was already such an amazing experience and quite funny when you think about it (me going to all these expensive places for the Northern Lights-and of course for the beautiful countries-but then having it on walking distance from my home lol).
Anyway, I've heard 2024/2025 are the best years to be able to see the Northern Lights. And I really want to try visit Tromso to see it and do a tour there. I've heard March is one of the best times to see it; but when you look at the weather; it says that March has the most amount of snowfall. So perhaps a silly question, but wouldn't that mean it's often very cloudy if there will be a lot of snow falling? Wouldn't that decrease my chances instead of increasing it?
I know you can never know, but I'm curious about what people would say/suggest! Would love to hear your input <3

Aedyran in the game is transparently pretty heavily influenced by Old English, it uses the same spelling conventions, for example, and the Aedyr Empire is definitely sort of a fantasy expy for Great Britain. Anyway, I was looking up etymologies on Wiktionary and I found this:

The etymology of the second, now obsolete word "grieve" that meant a governor is the following:
From Middle English greve, greyve, grave, grafe, from Old Norse greifi, from Middle Low German grēve, grâve, related to Old English grœfa, groefa, variants of Old English ġerēfa (“steward, reeve”). More at reeve.The Old English words that are noted as being related, "grœfa" and "groefa" meaning "steward/reeve" look very similar to "Gréf" and like they could have been adapted into that for the game. Does anyone know if that is the inspiration for that word?
